What's new in 2.24

The final content update for version 2 features new year props, v2 + v3 compatibility options, and the fix for game crash without extended requirements.

"New Year" Props

The final version 2 props are available now. I only added a few additions this month though. Most of the time was spent helping other's get their Map Builder in working order. This should all change going forward. Next month will be all about adding new props.

New Installation Options (crash fix)

The latest GTA V update limits the amount of added DLC the game can handle. So far I have came up with 2 possible solutions based on your preference.

• Option 1 - Install Map Builder as you normally would with the basic requirements. You will have significantly less props available, but the game will remain stable. (this may remove props from your previous builds.)

• Option 2 - Install Map Builder with additional requirements. You will have access to all props, but the game may become unstable after long periods of time. (this will keep all props available from your previous builds.)

I'm still searching for better solutions to our Map Builder resource crash. We will see how this works out for now.

Compatibility for Future Updates

You can use version 2 and version 3 together, or individually. I will continue to support version 2 for older maps. Version 3 will be something completely new. You can use both v2 and v3 together by installing gameconfig-requirements. You can find more information about this on our discord server.
