Patron Informer 101 - The Next Chapter
Hello patrons! The Patron Alert posts are now known as Patron Informer. This is one of many changes we will be making. New versions, tier changes, special offers, updates, and discord changes are the main headlines this month. Continue reading for more information on how everything changes for the better.
New Version Summary
Map Builder Community - Access to FREE public Map Builder content.
Map Builder Patrons - Access to additional Map Builder content for patrons.
Map Builder Early Patrons - Early Access to additional Map Builder content for patrons.
Map Builder Community Changes
Map Builder Community will remain about the same as it has since launch. I will not be pushing anymore content updates to the community version. However, you will be able to unlock more props by interacting on our discord server for FREE.
Map Builder Patrons
Map Builder is getting some visual and name upgrades, as well as a few more additions. Map Builder PRO will soon be known as Map Builder Patrons. This name change is important, as we move into a more evolved version of Map Builder. Updates will be different in Map Builder Patrons. Instead of pushing quick updates each month, I'll make completed updates over time. Patrons will still receive monthly benefits for their support pledge. Minor updates, and extra props are still coming monthly. The big updates will take more time. It will be worth the wait.
Map Builder Early Patrons
Map Builder BETA will soon be known as Map Builder Early Patrons. Get the most content when you become an Early Patron. This is for experienced Map Builder users who want more. Updates will require manual installation. All upcoming content will post early in packs. These packs contain content made for Early Patron's. The packs are used alongside your Map Builder Patrons installation. Simply install Map Builder Patrons, then install the desired Early Patrons Packs.
Discord Rewards
Content Quest will now be known as Discord Rewards. This will make the project easier to understand for newcomers. The system will remain the same. Interact in the sever and unlock limited edition rewards. So far, I like where this new project is going. I have another wave of content coming for everyone soon.
Redesigned Creator Page
Soon you will see my creator page evolve into something that's more interactive. I will post more content, rather than just posting updates. I will make it very easy to find the Map Builder downloads as well. Now that the community is expanding, I want to share even more with my patrons.
Special Offers & Tier Changes
Limited time special offers are coming soon for my patrons. It's still a work in progress, but I have lots of content coming. Tiers will change a little after the Map Builder upgrades. I plan to simplify things as much as possible to keep everyone on the same page. The Ocean of Content tier is sold out. This will be removed, but all patrons of the tier keep their benefits. Map Builder Add-Ons will now be a part of Map Builder Patrons. The Bonus Package tier will remain the same with some new additions coming soon. Finally, all tiers will receive more content than ever before.
Discord Support & December Updates
I'm updating the #readme channel and thinking about making a #troubleshooting channel. This will answer most of your Map Builder concerns. The amount of daily questions that I receive is quite overwhelming. I will play a role in the #dedicated-support channel for patrons, but the #help channel I will leave to the support team. I need to focus on improving and updating Map Builder. Make sure you check that ReadMe for answers. I'm doing my best to answer as many people as possible. I will take your feedback into consideration for future updates. I wish you all the best!
The changes and upgrades above will take place later this month, and early into December. More great Map Builder content is on the way! Take care and happy holidays!
