Map Builder PRO Update 2.17
What's new in 2.17
Map Builder Pro 2.17 is the Foundations, Glass, & Screens update. I have spent some quality time with 3D editors and this is what I came up with so far. (the 2.17 update is available for FiveM now)
Glass Panes
For this update, I give you all new glass pane objects! They have different color variations and textures to choose from. Right now they won't break with collisions because they are drawable objects (YDR). I will however look into more dynamic settings for glass later on. For now, these beauties are here for your creative pleasure.
Foundations
Ah, the long awaited foundation objects are here! They come with multiple texture variations for your building needs. The objects Y-axis is at ground level. The idea is that you can "drag up" as much of the foundation as you need for your builds. The sizes are the same as the MBx objects that were added last month. All 5 sizes work together seamlessly with custom UV mapping.
Add-On Object Packs Moved To Default Install
I have been working on more code updates for the builder definitions. I found some leftover stuff that has now been deleted. In doing so, I have fixed the crash bug that has been previously noticed in 2.15. All add-on objects have been moved back to the default 2.17 installation! A few that were causing issues have been removed.
DLC Unlocker Returns
I know it's been a long time since the last DLC Unlocker update. In this update, I have unlocked 344 more in-game objects for you! They have all been tested out and they are working. Rockstar seems to have added an object with my name on it. I'm sure this was unintentional, but I love it anyway! The update is included with Map Builder Pro, and will be a free standalone download soon.
Final Notes For 2.17
I have been testing this update for almost a week. So far, the only known issue is one of the glass objects texture is missing. I will add this back in the next update. Thank you everyone for your contributions this month! I have so much more planned for the rest of 2018. Take care!
