What's new in 2.16
In this update, we take the potential of Map Builder to the next level. In order to evolve, I needed to make some big changes. Completely reworked DLC, object cuts, SinglePlayer, FiveM, Add-Ons, and bug fixes are included in this update. Continue reading to learn more, or click the link above to download.
SinglePlayer & FiveM Options
Map Builder will now have 2 options, SinglePlayer and FiveM. SinglePlayer will be for creating your maps and playing offline. FiveM will be for sharing completed work with your community through dedicated severs.
Next Generation Map Builder DLC
The Map Builder DLC has been completely reworked. Many bugs have been fixed, including the crash bug. Objects now function slightly better in Map Editor as well.
Object Cuts & Refreshments
Moving forward, I needed to make a difficult decision. This included removing objects from the old Map Builder days. The objects have been removed due to conflicts with the FiveM version, they cause the game to crash, and they take up too many resources. 239 old objects have been included with this removal. Taking the download size from 782MB to 200MB. They can however be added back via Add-Ons if you'd like to keep them.
Good News, Add-On Packs Return!
This is what I'm most excited for! I already have some great bonus content prepared for you. Custom Map Editor Crosshairs, Map Builder Loading Screens, CodeWalker Essentials, YMAP Support, and Object Packs are included. Add-Ons are a separate optional download for Map Builder. Remember that these Add-Ons may cause unexpected game behavior.
