Climbing in Abandoned is designed to be quick, responsive, and intuitive

Climbing in the Abandoned is quick and snappy. When you move close enough to the edge of a climbable object, you automatically enter climbing mode, exiting once you reach the top. You can also cancel a climb at any time by moving away from the surface you’re attached to. Fluently run, jump, transition, and vault over objects without stopping. Once you get the hang of the mechanics, you will be speedrunning in no time!

Keep an eye on your Stamina meter during a climb to avoid losing your grip. Stamina resets instantly after you pivot to a new side of the object, switch to another object, or complete a climb.
