Quick Update on Lust Theory - Season 3 (v0.8.4) - More troubles...

I really hate to be a bringer of bad news but, it's part of the job I guess...
On that note, it's time for a little honesty hour from the team.
Remember last week’s delay for Lust Theory S3 v0.8.4?
Well… we’re still not ready to release it.
Not because of bugs, not because of renders (okay, maybe some of them), not because Carol hacked our build (this time)…
but because we ran into major story issues.
And since we’re deep in the final stretch of development - shaping the endings, tying together every choice, loop, consequence, and all the chaos MC caused, we cannot release a story update unless everything lines up perfectly.
If something doesn’t make sense now, it will break everything later, and we can't end Lust Theory that way.
We had to take a step back, re-evaluate some scenes, and make sure it all connects the way it’s supposed to.
In other words:
We’re polishing the ending of a multi-year story, and we refuse to half-ass it.
We know waiting sucks, especially when we’re this close to the finish line.
We’re really sorry for another delay, but you have to trust us:
you wouldn’t enjoy the new update that doesn’t fully work or has a story hole big enough to swallow the whole Lust Theory universe.
The good news?
Everything is back on track, the fixes are underway, and we’ll give you more info soon. ❤️

Most of us get-it. wrapping a multi tiered story can always bit you in the ass around act 4. so I was only wondering as this is now a 2 week delay, will the next update be for all tiers, or on the stepped tier rollout as normal?
The next release will be like any other.

Yes, this is the last season of the main story.
BTW, thank you for providing pretty detailed reasoning. It makes this surprise pretty understandable.
Normally I would say my CTRL is wearing out, the story is at best a tertiary objective for me, so give me my bloody porn, that is the reason this subgenre exists at all and is the ONLY reason for 95% of your revenue. But I know that will never, ever be provided without a story, and your priority is an overall product with high reviews, and it is your business after all (I'm just a consumer), so I will be patient. I do now sort of expect at least two full Ellie scenes, though (even if they are back to back- multiple MC pops), despite the extremely likely prioritization of the Alice scene(s). I'm hoping this ultimately wraps up with a plethora of scenes and choices for said scenes, and more scenes via hidden events over time. I really think you set a tremendous bar with LT2.
thanks for the update, and i am one that values not just a few renders but the story nd intrigue beng worth it. we had a bit of a dip before, but you guys have been trying hard to recover, and i can see the effort coming back, so we're here with all the tech difficulties AND writers' block (or sanity checks) keep it up
Add a hundred lewd scenes with Ellie's mom, even if they have to be non-canonical.
Sounds good to me. Honestly, you guys are one of the more reliable publishers when it comes to frequency of releases, so if you say there needs to be a delay in order to really stick the ending, I trust you.
Appreciate the update brother. I'm always cool with waiting for quality as I think most of us are. Looking forward to the release when it's ready.
Will you be using the resources of the NTR team to finish Lust Theory 3 faster and keep an end of 2025 release date?
The whole team of artists is working on the project simultaneously, like for any other game/release.
