Very grateful! I made the change for ChatGPT version >= 3.5. The change had to be made in two places. '-----1----' ' oXMLHTTP.Open "POST", "https://api.openai.com/v1/completions", False 'Set Open Posts For Text ' AIBody = "{""model"": """ & Model & """, ""prompt"": """ & Context & Prompt & """, ""temperature"": " & Temp & " , ""max_tokens"": 3500}" 'Request Body For Text Response oXMLHTTP.Open "POST", "https://api.openai.com/v1/chat/completions", False 'Set Open Posts For Text AIBody = "{""model"": """ & Model & """, ""messages"": [{""role"": ""user"", ""content"": """ & Prompt & """}], ""temperature"": " & Temp & ", ""max_tokens"": 3500}" And '---------2-------' Dim startPos As Integer Dim endPos As Integer Dim content As String startPos = InStr(Response, """content"": """) + Len("""content"": """) endPos = InStr(startPos, Response, """") content = Mid(Response, startPos, endPos - startPos) content = Replace(content, "\n", ",") content = Replace(content, "1) ", "") content = Replace(content, "2) ", "") ParsedAnswer = content ' ParsedAnswer = Right(Response, Len(Response) - InStrRev(Response, "[{" & Chr(34) & "text" & Chr(34) & ":" & Chr(34)) - 9) ' ParsedAnswer = Left(ParsedAnswer, InStrRev(ParsedAnswer, Chr(34) & "," & Chr(34) & "index") - 1) ' ParsedAnswer = Replace(Replace(ParsedAnswer, "\n", vbNewLine), "\" & Chr(34), Chr(34))

Ah yes so true, very well done. I also had to make the change to my Excel AI Addin application for the new model. I just can't quite get to updating all of the old templates used in the trainings for new models. I think we just have to accept making regular code updates. Very well done on the update and great to have you here Korina

Above is wrong...here is better example: ChatGPT(" example Question") ChatGPT ( "question2", answer 1cell ) ChatGPT ("question3", answer 2 cell) etc. Using template questions to accept preceding answer. Example: What is a hot Youtube Video Topic? What would be a good eye-catching title for _________ Write and into paragraph for ________ Write a script for ________ Create a project plan for ____________ Create an effort estimate for ___________ Used for repetitive process

HI Martin, yes that makes sense. These would be great ideas for a new ChatGPT Function

Hi Randy, using the AI function, some features I'd like to see: Marty I'd like to set up a series of those in a row so that the answer from the 1st question in the series fed the second, etc. ChatGPT(" example Question") ChatGPT ( answer 1cell ) ChatGPT ( answer 2 cell) etc. Also, for the ask it anything button, I'd like for it to store the response in a cell, new cell for every question.

Hi Martin, thank so much for your idea. They are all really good. I will see that I can incorporate those into a new training the next time we do a ChatGPT training. Thanks for your continued support

Hi Randy, thx for this. amazing add-in..... when I first tried it I received an error in the ChatGP_Function macro, ParsedAnswer line of code, and I noticed that in "InStrRev(ParsedAnser" had received a message back from open ai telling me my account had expired. I presume the reply was incomplete from the perspective of your parse engine code and caused an error. My free account had expired, I upgraded to a paid account and the add-in works fine now. is there a way to receive the status of the account message without triggering a macro error? Sorry, did not document the error report specifics from the pop-up and can't reproduce the error since my account it ok now

Hi and thanks so much. Yes i do understand about the issue. You can add something like this into the code If InStr(Response, "expired") > 0 Then 'Content submitted is too large MsgBox "Your account has expired and should be renewed or upgraded to a paid plan" End Exit Sub End If I hope this helps and thanks so much.

My apologies, yes, I’m trying to download the “Excel AI Tool-pack New” (Excel add-in) from Patreon and haven’t been able too. Thanks

Whunt · May 5, 2023

Hi Randy, I’m not able to download the excel file.

Excel For Freelancers · May 5, 2023

Hi Whunt, this is an Excel add-in, not an Excel workbook so they are different. Please see the original training for more details here: https://youtu.be/S17cYc6oKMw I hope this helps and thanks so much.

I get the message 'You exceeded your current quota' in the debug window. What is wrong?

E
Excel For Freelancers · May 2, 2023

Hi Peter, each new account is given a certain free quota, once you have exceeded this, you will receive this message. You will want to check your open AI account for details on that and may want to upgrade to a paid account. I hope this helps and thanks so much. You can check here: https://platform.openai.com/account/usage
