Field Service Manager Update [Gold & Silver]
Hello Members!
In this week’s Feature, Fix, or Focus, we take last week’s Field Service Manager training.
Here are the updates I made for this training:
· Dynamic Mapping added by Randy Austin
· Automated Locations added by Randy Austin
Please don’t forget to add your requests for your own Feature, Fix or Focus each week when I post a new video, right here on Patreon. Each week I will either add a new feature, fix a bug or an issue, or create another training with a special focus on any part, all based on your feedback and comments.
Make sure to view the brand new and updated training and download the updated workbook in the attachments below.

how do we change the work order number that is generated? I want my work orders to start with 2025 and then add the next number in line after the year. Or can we change the number using zapier or pabbly?
Hi Michael, within the original training I discuss the Max formula that calculate the next ID. You will need to use 2 columns (one for the numerical ID # and one for the Unique Key. I have a video next Saturday that will show you how to do this.
How would we add information to the customer db to associate them with a company?
HI and thanks very much. You can add additional columns to the database as well as additional fields to the form, and then make updates to the code accordingly. I hope this helps and thanks so much.
Hallo Randy, I'm woundering if you maybe know the answer to my question: - Is it possible to run PhonerLite via VBA, so that a phonenumber (like e.g. L9 in your Work Orders Sheet) gets called via a e.g. Show-Up-Button at the selected Cell which contains the Phone Number??? Would be great if you could maybe it that in one of the next tutorials.
Hi Benjamin, I have not used PhonerLite before and I am not familiar with it, however you can check if they have an API or you can check if their API is available through Integromat/Make (www.Make.com) If they do, then it can probably be done> I hope this helps and thanks so much.
Hello Randy In the Zip file You have forgot the map files, there is only one Jobmap.png and some named LA?.png
Thanks Bent, we will make sure to get that added
