Dynamic Skills Matrix Review & Feature, Fix or Focus Request [GOLD & Silver]

Hello Members,

The training we have for this week that I have shared with you was about the Amazing Dynamic Skills Matrix. If you have not seen it yet, you can view it right here on YouTube.

Now that the training has been released, I am looking for your feedback to make this even better, just for you, our incredible Patreon Members.

So, what Feature can I add for you? Did you find an issue you want me to fix? Or is there a particular area you would like me to focus on?

Please comment your ideas and feedback to any of these below and I will do my best to not only create an updated workbook but release a private training video next Monday, right here on Patreon.

I am looking forward to hearing from you and thanks so much for your support.

Regards,
Randy

Not on the Gantt chart project as that was an older video. We just started this 2 months ago, so the Feature Fix or Focus is added to every new video I create. (Tomorrow I will release the Feature, Fix or Focus for the Dynamic Skills Matrix above. I hope this helps and thanks so much.

Is it in your opinion Hard works to merge these projects to One?

E
Excel For Freelancers · November 11, 2021

Hi Peter, it would not be difficult. You would need to add start and end dates to the project database, then follow my Gantt chart training. I hope this helps and thanks so much.

A gantt chart showing the projects. Would be an interesting feature.

Hi Randy, excellent training as always. Looks like this matrix could easily transform into a staff training matrix. Now we have the skills could it be adapted to incorporate employees availability whether that would be a Mon to Fri or a shift pattern such as 4 on 4 off or perhaps 6 on 3 off ?

HI Gary, thanks so much for the comment. This could absolutely be turned into a training matrix. If you combine this with a traditional project manager or employee training program the possibilities are endless. Check out the Project Manager series I have here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrhOAn3bPic&list=PLIBeRriXvKzBgiKcu6UdD9E_4S8xiKUWq I hope this helps and thanks so much.

ons = one

Yes very interesting idea. I am going to take it into consideration for the Feature, Fix or Focus video and update. thanks so much Fred

Fred Wittekamp · November 10, 2021

This is feeded from the idea that not everybody can work simultaniously and ons employee must wait until the other finishes his work.

Per-project

E
Excel For Freelancers · November 10, 2021

HI Fred, that is an interesting idea. Would it be on a per-project or per-employee basis in which they work less than 8 hours a day?

F
Fred Wittekamp · November 10, 2021

It was a fantastic training. What I miss is the possibility to let the members of the team work less than a workday of eight hours. It would be added value to have a choice to fill out for example 4 hours per day and the total amount of hours per teammember and have the program calculate the new time it takes to finish the project. Regards Fred.
