SHARE & SYNC ADD-IN: EARLY ACCESS & DOWNLOADS [Silver Members]
Hello friends, great to have you here as a Silver Member. This week's training is on Share & Sync Add-in.
In this video & download, I share with you a brand-new Excel add-in that I have just built that allows you to share and sync your Excel workbook with anyone, without having to write a single line of code. This incredible add-in allows you to share and sync unlimited workbooks, with unlimited users around the world using ANY version of Excel.
▶️ Feel free to watch the full training video right here on YouTube when it goes live.
As a Silver Member, you can also participate in our Feature, Fix or Focus Program, in which each week I will add a feature, fix an issue, or focus on a specific part of the current week’s training. This Feature, Fix, or Focus will be entirely based on your requests and ideas in the comments below. Based on those suggestions, I will then create another short video, along with an updated workbook and make them available exclusively to you, right here on Patreon. I look forward to reading your comments below.
👉 Make sure you download the workbook, PDF codebook, and the training resources in the files below.
I would love to hear your feedback, ideas, and suggestions on any upcoming videos as well, so make sure to comment below as I read every comment.
I look forward to hearing from you and I hope you enjoy the training. Thank you.

I need some guidance on how to get this to work on a mac and googledrive as a shared folder
Hi Nicholas, thanks for your message. Since I don't have a Mac here I would not be able to direct you however can you create a post in our Excel For Freelancers Group Here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/ExcelFreelancersGroup We have thousands of members who would love to work with you on this.
Another feature that would be handy rather than syncing to all users what about a sync that would go to a master file. I have a file that I want record certain actions taken by a user that would go a master file not to all users of the workbook. Maybe the user what time they logged on etc. This info would not be useful to a user but to say the admin person. Hope this makes sense
Hi Peter, thanks for the idea. That would be interesting. I have done user logs before. I will see if i can apply it to a future training but certainly would be nice to have a log available somewhere (or keep it in txt files until the admin wants to look at it and can be opened in a new workbook) Thanks again for your continued support
This is an awesome add. Hi randy a couple of things to think about. 1/. How do other users get the add in? eg you give them a workbook that you want to use. They would have to add the add in so is there an easy to automate this. 2/. Can you show the logged in user on the toolbar.
Hi Peter, thanks so much for your idea. In the Patreon update, when a new user is created, an email is automatically generated to the user and the addin is added as an attachment. I also have already programmed to show the user, login time and status visible on the toolbar. (I had to get it done quickly this week since i am traveling next week)
