This mod injects a lot picker into every High School active job pop-up, allowing the player to control which High School venue the day takes place at. The same logic is applied to Career Day and Prom events: a pop-up is provided to pick the Auditorium venue for the event.
Graduation Logic
Graduation is a globally scheduled event for all Sims every Sunday. Graduating a Sim unhides the event. (Unmodded behavior)
This mod adds an interaction to the Actions menu on Sims, allowing the player to unhide the graduation and enroll the active Sim in the event. (Modded behavior; also allows Early Graduates to have a graduation!)
Once a Sim is assigned to an event (visible in the Sunday calendar slot), the Sim can then Change Graduation Venue and pick an Auditorium lot anywhere in the save. (Modded behavior)
If a Sim ages up from Teen to Young Adult, a graduation is scheduled instantly. (Modded behavior; Maxis' logic forces you to wait.)
Student Logic
This mod does not change how students are picked. The venue works like any other lot, with visitors being pulled from a pool of Sims across the entire save. However, to make High School students more local, Home Regions by Kuttoe can be used to restrict the venue to locals only. This requires enabling the Locals Only toggle.
This way, having a school per world will result in a more varied group of Sims participating in the school environment.
If High School Management by SonozakiSisters is installed, the hand-picked sims will appear as long as they live in that world. If you don't have enough lots for the hand-picked sims, use Home Regions' Move Townie interaction, which allows you to assign any sim (whether they live on a lot or not) to a specific world.
Uniforms:
Uniforms can be created using Fashion Authority by Lot51. If you want uniforms to be applied locally to each school, this mod makes that possible as well.
Prom & Graduation Attendee Logic:
This is the most disappointing part, but Prom and Graduation attendees are not affected by any mods and function like visitors to any other lot. Sims will show up from across the entire save. However, having an Auditorium to choose where these events are held is a compromise of sorts.
Most, if not all, mods touching High Schools should function just fine. The mod is just a tool for picking the location and that's it.
All of the mods I create would not exist without Lot51's Tuning Builder & Core Library, Sims 4 Studio, and Maxis.

Hi love this mod so much!! Just wanted to lyk I’m pretty sure there’s an incompatibility with Aramiteus’s more high school students mod. Tested with only those 2 mods and it causes teachers to just stand around and not teach classes, making them unattendable. Idk how simple it is to resolve or if it’s even possible, but thought I should let u know. Let me know if I should bring it up on Aramiteus’s page if it’s an incompatibility on their end. Thank you sm for your work!
forgot to mention but I think it’s a problem with the white board object. Teachers don’t go near it to teach and students can’t prank it. It’s not able to be selected for an action at all, can’t even be shift clicked

Hi, sorry if you answered this already but I couldn't find anything about this anywhere. Will this mod conflict with the Zerbu go to school mod?
Mod don't work. Forcing them to join next graduation, doesn't put it on the calendar, nothing happens. Age them up to Young Adult, still nothing happens. Have latest of both Lot51 and mod. No other mods installed. Game version 1.128.90.
nvm, graduation did happen but it was a few weeks after it should have happened.
I put this in game with Kuttoe's home regions as well as fashion authority as suggested. I placed down multiple high schools and auditoriums but I was unable to select multiple High School Lot Types. Are additional high schools suppose to use the auditorium lot type? Also only the cook and janitor showed up when I followed my sim to school. I removed the mod and now everyone appropriate shows up when I follow my sim to school but they immediately disappear for the entire school day.
Make sure the lot types are set to high school, otherwise they won’t show up. If you cant select the high school lot, you might have a conflicting mod that edits venues. Use better exceptions by tmex to find conflicts

Hey! So just to be clear, is this compatible with Basemental's venue list? I saw in prior comments it MIGHT conflict but in another saying it should be fine with Zerbu's list? Just wanted to be sure, thank you!
It will conflict with basemental's and not allow using the high school lot type due to how the mod is structured. Zerbu's is fine as it uses a more universal method of unlocking the lot type for worlds
I'm having a weird bug, the lot type I've turned into an high school can't be changed anymore/is greyed out. It says "Disabled for Special Venues" and the high school option doesn't appear anymore for other worlds in my save... Not sure what happened or what mod it might conflict with. Edit: The auditorium type still appears properly though. I am currently removing all my mods and try to figure out what might cause this issue that's so weird because it worked perfectly at first. And thank you so much for your hardwork you don't know how much this matters as a family player XD and I am so glad it wouldn't conflict with Zerbu's venue changes because turbo careers are very essential to my gameplay
Hello. While using the mod, I encountered an error when building the auditorium. I selected a lot and set it to "Base" in order to build the main auditorium structure. However, I was unable to change the lot type afterward; the option was unavailable. I tried placing other lots on the affected site, but the error persisted. The school, however, placed correctly.
I didn't even know I wanted this until I seen it! Thank you so much

Technically you can go to university from anywhere (when living off-campus or placing university housing), I would better want active uni classes XD
Is this compatible with Zerbu's Venue List and the HS addon? Also, the generic lot type is still greyed out for my Copperdale HS lot. This doesn't unlock it huhu! Now I can't join my teen sim in Copperdale HS cause it doesn't appear in the picker as it doesn't read the Copperdale HS generic lot as high school :( help I love this mod huhu
It should be compatible with Zerbu's mod as the venue unlock package does the same thing as zerbu's does. What zerbu's mod allows additionally is to edit the default high school lot to a different lot. You should be able to change the lot type from generic to High School, which is what will allow the picker to display it as an option.

Hey, my mod actually is a better solution, as it unlocks all existing lot types in the game, including custom ones, so you don't need the venue list mod :)

If you use basementals universal venue list, it might be conflicting with this one!

you just need to open build mode and change the lot type to High School and it'll show!

Zerbu's addon allows additionally removing the existing high school lot in Copperdale, so you can definitely keep both if you want, nothing bad will happen!

Yep, as long as you build more than one, the lot picker will display all existing high school lots in the save :)
