An update
In the middle of January I got sick, which wouldn't subside for a month, ending with an intense stomach cramp that forced me to stay a night at the hospital. A week after that I got news that a loved one has been diagnosed with late stage pancreatic cancer, which has been weighing heavily on me ever since. On top of this, the world is burning and I keep putting unnecessary stress on myself.
But despite such a shitty start to the year, my community has come through and shown to be a significant light in the darkness. The amount of approval and support I've gotten these last few months have been insane, and I love and appreciate all of you for it.
With that said, it's time for me to take an extended break before I start working on Season 3, so that I can focus on my own well-being. I will be pausing Patreon billing for a month so that I can minimize the amount of pressure I feel to start developing. Apologies that it'll be a while until the next update, but I'm certain that most if not all of you would prefer a happy Lemon over a burnt out Lemon who doesn't feel good.
Also I will be updating my Patreon tiers eventually since you can get P:P much cheaper here than it should be, I just won't be changing anything right now.

Pancreatitis is what put me down, very similar to what you describe. And it's not pancreas that it's a warning for necessarily, but gall bladder. Go to the doc, get answers and don't self diagnose. If you need help to deal with it between your ears, just ask for it. Nothing is worth losing your health or peace of mind (often the same thing). I've been there (13 days in I.C.U., heart stopped twice), done that, have the t-shirt... and about another 40-50 years to look forward to. Anxiety will retard any recovery.
You take as long as needed to heal, YOU come first as does your family. GOD bless you and heal you!

An unhappy burnt lemon is not a classy lemon. Nothing is as important as your own wellbeing. Take all the time you need. I suspect a few of us would offer support whether you paused billing or not.
Take the Time you need and get well soon. You only have one health and this is important for you.

I want that update, but I'm willing to wait on it because I know it's going to be much better when you have a clear mind and clean bill of health. I also don't want to see a talented dev overwork their self to the point they don't WANT to develop anymore. Communities can be toxic but you have a good one here I think, so take your time and get better
Take care of your health first, anyone worth a damn cares more about you and your health then the game. You can't continue such an amazing and wonderful story if you're health isn't up to par. We've all got your back.
