Chun Li Reveal !!!!

Hey everyone! The wait is finally over.

First of all, my brother and I want to sincerely thank you all for your patience with this release. We know it took a little longer than usual, but our goal was to deliver an exceptional quality product, and we didn’t want to rush anything.
We created the concept from scratch here at DTR Studio and worked hard to translate every detail perfectly into 3D. Our main inspiration was the unforgettable Chinese Market stage, that absolute classic from Street Fighter II and Street Fighter Alpha.

In our previous release of Akuma, the statue had a much darker and heavier feel. Now, we wanted to change the tone. Chun-Li is an incredibly strong fighter, but she also has a lighthearted and fun side. We wanted the statue to convey exactly that energy!

That’s why we modeled several classic elements to form the base: the wooden crates, the rolling fruit, the power effect, and, of course, the iconic chicken running away from the chaos! 🐔

To make the statue even more complete in your eyes, we created two head options. One focused on the action of combat, and the other directly inspired by her classic (and fun) victory pose in SF2! 😜✌️

Standard Base Version: We know the full base has a lot of parts. So, for those who prefer a faster print or don’t want to print and paint all the extra items, we’ve also prepared a cleaner Standard version that focuses on the character.

As you can see, we made some important adjustments during the transition from paper to digital sculpture:

Dynamism and Anatomy: We refined her anatomy in 3D and slightly adjusted the pose and impact effects to make the movement of the strike even more fluid and dynamic.

Material Efficiency: Always keeping the printer in mind, we optimized the volumes and layout of the scene. The idea was to keep the statue grand, but use less resin/filament during printing.

Color Composition: You may have noticed the addition of the chicken and some specific fruits. We added and repositioned these objects on purpose so that the colors of the base would perfectly match the character, balancing the scene with Chun-Li’s classic blue and yellow.

Little by little, our collection of fighters is taking shape and looking more and more amazing on the shelf, thanks to the support of each and every one of you!

And for those of you who are already thinking about the upcoming releases and trying to guess who’s next after Chun-Li, here’s a little spoiler: my brother and I are already hard at work on the concept art for Ryu and Sagat! Get ready for some epic pieces coming your way.
