WE HAVE A WINNER: The Hero of Hyrule has been chosen!
The voting is closed, and the big winner who will become our next statue is none other than Link from The Legend of Zelda!
Now that the champion has been decided, we will begin the modeling planning phase. But since we want to create the best piece possible for you, we need the community's help to define the details of this epic statue.
Please leave your opinions on two very important points in the comments:
1️⃣ Which version of Link do you prefer? The darker, more detailed look of Twilight Princess or the lighter, more adventurous style of Breath of the Wild ?
2️⃣ What items are a must? Besides the Master Sword and Hylian Shield, is there any other equipment, accessory, or specific detail (such as a bow, bombs, or a scenery element) that you would insist on having in the statue?

Twilight Princess is the closest design to Ocarina of Time, so definitely choosing that. As far as what items to be included I don’t know for TP version (maybe a dead/beat up enemy). However, if breath of the wild gets chosen. I think it would be awesome so see him in the sheikah armor with the wind cleaver katana (in sheath).
Perfect, we can put a fallen enemy on the base. I think the more classic version of Link will end up winning. So yes, we can put an enemy on the base. They also talked about adding the clawshot, so we'll make an interchangeable hand for those who want to use it with the clawshot and for those who want to use it with the shield and sword.
This model is going to be fire! 🔥🔥🔥 For me, who grew up playing Ocarina of Time / Majora's Mask, the "traditional" Link would definitely be my favorite. 😁 But I'm sure that regardless of which one is chosen, the model will be awesome.
Okay, perfect. So, I think the traditional Link will end up winning after all, haha. Let's try to make the definitive statue of him. We're already gathering all the ideas and coming up with concepts to start the sculpture. Let's make the premium Link piece.
1. If it's between the two you listed; I would lean towards the Twilight Princess style, but I'd honestly rather see a sculpt of Link from A Link to the Past, Minish Cap, or the Oracles titles. 2. If you go with Twilight Princess - it would be interesting to see him using the Clawshot (or even Double Clawshot), for A Link to the Past - it would be fun to see him wearing the Magic Medallions & creating a block with the Cane of Somaria, for Minish Cap - it would be cool to see him wearing Ezlo & using the Gust Jar, and if you went with Oracles - I would love to see him with one of the animal companions (ideally Dimitri, but Moosh or Ricky would be great as well)
