Watch Dogs R.E.A.L. VR mod sneak peek
Yes, it's stupendous Ian Higton again, YouTuber and VR connoisseur extraordinaire, taking our new mod for a spin!
And what a spin that is :-)
Driving through Chicago with his head sticking out of the window like a happy puppy, casually exploding the wrong people, jumping from flower to flower in digital acid trips, intersecting trains as though the Matrix and Doctor Strange were having a crossover episode, and finally wrecking as much destruction as possible with his trusty giant spider mech.
Enjoy watching this hilarious video, while I put the finishing touches to the mod before release (it will be out later today, I promise), and don't forget to like and subscribe because Eurogamer and Ian are doing the Lord's work with VR and gaming in general!!

Hi, im trying to play CyberPunk on my oculus 2, through its Meta Quest link, i have downloaded the mod but it stays in 2d, plz help me
Make sure you are using version 14.1 of the mod. If you put a copy of your RealVR64.log file on pastebin and post a link to it here, I'll take a look.
Dope Stuff! Excited to replay it in VR! Watch Dogs 2 would be pretty dope too. Thanks for all the hard work!!!!
Now that Cyberpunk is officially done updating, are there any plans to put some finishing touches on the mod and add more QoL? Just little stuff like the drone segment of the Phantom Liberty MaxTac ambush making the camera do barrel rolls and stuff, n' a few other little details that could use a bit o' polish.
Not that I know of. If you have a save file for that specific bug, feel free to send it to me at chronowake@gmail.com I can try it on my end and then send off to Luke to see if he can fix that particular issue. You are the first person to mention it. Any other bugs like that, feel free to report them. Nothing planned for general QOL stuff though. I did ask about getting newer Reshade content to work and he said he would try to look into that at some point.
I really like using the REAL VR app, especially with first-person games like CP2077—it makes the experience so immersive! But when it comes to third-person games, it feels a bit odd, like you're just floating next to the character you're supposed to be. It kind of breaks the immersion for me. I guess VR can be great for different types of games too, especially ones where you're meant to manipulate the environment or guide the main character from a distance. Everyone enjoys VR in their own way, right? What's your take on this?
You can use the first person mod as Luke says in the post but it is not a perfect experience and the camera will jump back into third person for some situations. It works fine while you are on foot though for the most part. Also, using the bumper cam while driving a motorcycle is pretty exhilarating. I prefer first person as well, but I am fine with 3rd person if it is close to the action and I can admire things up close still.
Yes yes, Old games power, that go buttery smooth in VR !!!!!!!! Eager to try it !!!
