[0.5] - Progress Report #2

Hey, Mentor. It's good to see you here again.

How’s your summer going? Don’t tell me you’re working during the summer, too? That sucks! Why didn’t we appreciate our school days back then? 🤣 I could’ve spent the whole summer playing video games and not worrying about a thing… but now…

Now I’m swamped with my day job, which at least helps me survive in this harsh world where you have to pay for everything, hahaha. But I’m not complaining. It’s a phase I have to go through to reach my goal… and I’m just a little sad that I can’t devote all my time to developing my game, but it’s all good. I know it’s a privilege to be able to work full-time and make a living solely from creating a game… there aren’t that many developers like that, and I just need to keep working toward that. I may not be the most active developer or the most successful one, but I realize that no matter what, I’ll keep working on my game, whatever the circumstances may be in the future. I just wish my whole life hadn’t taken a 360-degree turn right when I released my game.

These… these are just some thoughts I wanted to share with you. I realize that’s not why you’re here… but I’m just a person with my own thoughts that I’d like to share with you because you’ve taken an interest in my game and are also a part of it.

Now, regarding the game’s 0.5 update, the script is 75% complete. I have one major event and one minor event left to write, and after that I’ll move on to creating the images. As for those, two major H-events are finished. There’s one more ahead waiting its turn, and one that hasn’t been written yet.

Also, in my free time, when I have the energy, I’m working on a custom map of the dormitory lounge. This is where many students will spend their time...watching TV shows, playing games, socializing and where you’ll be able to meet many students you’d like to chat with in the future. I want this dorm to be a fully-fledged location where you can move from the lobby to different floors, the shower, the restroom, and so on.

Even though the game’s lore is vast and complex, I want to focus on the students and give them more attention right now to develop their characters, and I hope you’ll see that in version 0.5.
