Podcast Episode 8
So this one kind of went in a direction that I didn't expect. Going in, I planned on talking about rape fantasy. How many people have them and how their being in fiction is a good thing for all people. However the discussion kind of moved into the direction of rape and sexual assault survivorship. While this is a very important topic, this is way outside what I am comfortable covering given my knowledge and experience. I will work to keep things more in line with my gaming focus in the future.

Good episode - though you did keep your expert waiting for too long, imho. BDSM and rape fantasies are kinks I brush up against in my (mostly unrelated) research on online role-play in Second Life, and I noticed there are issues in co-created RP that aren’t there in games or lit (including the emotional sacrifices one partner may feel they have to make when fulfilling the unshared fantasises of their lover).
I found this discussion very interesting, and kinda helped me with some of my own past trauma. Or, at least it helped me feel a bit more "normal".

Chrono Trigger is amazing definitly a masterpiece from the 90s
Subverse is soo good yes I love everything in it from the bullet hell shoot 'em up and tactical strategy rpg combat. I always loved arcade bullet hell shoot em up from back in the Arcades and old retro games days so Subverse is a big step up from that.
