I liked the article, and am glad that you were given the opportunity to share your passion with a larger audience. It's cool that you are donating the proceeds to charity, but I'm not sure how it constitutes a conflict of interest. You feel that it does, and that's more than enough, but I guess I don't understand the space well enough. Unless Polygon has some sort of referral link program I was unaware of. I could see how that would construe a conflict of interest there, if the games you put in the article had paid you to do so. Is there a video you made that I missed?
I'd rather avoid any appearance of conflict of interest.
That's awesome. Good selection of games in your list. I also appreciate that Polygon didn't censor any of the images. I find I like that site more every time I visit.
I'm glad you liked it!
Great article! The games you picked seems like a good cross section. Both of flavors and gaming genres. I definitely couldn't do better. I suspect most people trying to make such a list would come up with something more narrow, because we just don't have the breath of knowledge about games outside our own particular tastes. That's why we need an adult gaming expert. ;)
I hope this is not going to become a thing.
A fun article, I'm looking forward to more! Was that the first time someone else labelled you an "adult gaming expert"?
First and hopefully last!
That was a good article! I'm glad, and a bit surprised, that Polygon asked for it! The comment section seemed very positive. Also, I will have to try Flipwitch again.
I'm so glad! I was really nervous!
Solid article! And a good introduction to this part of the medium. I recognised your voice from start to finish. Personally, I'd probably add Cloud Meadow to the list, given its gameplay and production values.
Great game, but I was afraid to show too many unfinished games.
Congratulations! So happy you did it. Just read the article; a pretty good selection! I also read the 36 comments; they were surprisingly positive with lots more recommendations.
That was pretty awesome! Unfortunately I was asleep when the article came out, so this video is way late.
Congratulations on the success, Annie! We’re moving on up in the world
Thanks! We'll see how 2025 goes!
