Kanto's New Champion (College Ash x Cynthia)

Okay Okay, I'm sorry, but not really lol. As I told the Lanterns, I really made Ash into a little shit, but I think its a hilarious progression of the title going to his head.

So... move over Lance, theres a new Champion in Kanto, and he's cocky as hell. But... Cynthia doesn't exactly hate that either...

Status: 5/5 Complete! And added a short detail to p2.

This must be rectified. Behoooold lol jk jk, sorta. This actually was what I meant to do with Cynthia, more fun this way, but I needed to draw that first comic with her and Ash before this to establish the fuck buddy relationship they have. It wouldn't have worked if this was the debut. And to practice the style. I think it came out better this time around.

For those curious about the timeline though, its an AU that takes pointers from canon, but I moved things around bc time didn't really pass in the show. So here, Ash is 18 when he finally becomes Champion, and Cynthia is I want to say, in the 27-29 range. I never watchd the anime religiously but she's alluding to the whole Team Galactic/Palkia/Dialga scenario.

As for personality, I kind of wanted Ash to differentiate himself from the other protagonists I've been writing/drawing. Theres your Morty's/Dippers/ Double D's and then farther along you'll find Steven/Danny (some cheekyness) and then there's Ash, who's enjoying the ride ha. 😅

Note: I dont think I got Lance's profile just right, I wanted him to look more rugged, but I dont have much experience drawing older guys. I should draw more DILFs x College girls some time. Suuure wouldve been nice if Trixie or Sissy had won polls.
