You know to be suspicious of any language that foregrounds 'Jesus' rather than a more generic 'God', because I certainly never encountered it expressed thay way in my bog standard C of E school/churchgoing with parents. Nailed on yank evangelism, or African diaspora I suppose, but that's also heavily influenced by yank televangelism.
