To put fuel prices in more real terms, the cost of diesel for my work van has almost doubled since COVID from around £50 to £90. £30 of that happened in the past few months. Our department are getting emails about keeping fuel bills down but in my head those are rookie numbers and I wanna see triple digits so I can laugh every time. Fuck em, I aint getting paid enough to care.
