Re; prisons -went on a hyper focus rabbit hole on prison overheating and incidents of violence (report of the chief inspector of prisons etc), TL;DR like most other aspects of the climate collapse, it's a disaster waiting to happen.
Also using the Secret Rob school of journalism method of dividing the amount of funding by the population it affects, it works out ~£67k per new prison place. So more nowt effectively.
