It's fun to me that for the characters in the story, the world is ending, for the people playing, it's a normal day of the week hanging out with their friends and getting stuff done before the wedding, and for us listeners there are thousands of things going on all around the world that the same story fits into. A nice bit of real life magic.
It made me so happy that Dave told them to go to the ethereal plane after episodes of Lud telling Aiden that’s a bad idea then proceeding to do the dumbest possible shit at every interaction

Sirene is definitely my favourite side character. Also I got lowkey emotional when she asked Roan what he thought of... all of Mori basically, of his and his people's entire existence, and he just gave a simple "I love it" with a smile 🥺🥹

I feel like this was the best episode we've had so far. The vibes were just immaculate, Lud was on his game, Nick remembered he has a sword, Aiden rolled poorly, and Slime shoved testicles in a molerats's mouth. Honestly I don't see how it goes up from here.
