My feeling with bisexuality is very similar to Aiden’s. When I came out to my parents it didn’t go amazing, but it wasn’t bad either. It was only swept under the rug and I keep being told to find a husband and have kids and I don’t know what it would be like if I had a long-term girlfriend/wife. Would most likely end up okay, but there would have extra steps to get there. Sometimes I think being a lesbian would be easier because it would crush all dreams of heteronormativity.

my experience with bisexuality is the same as aiden. you follow the breadcrumbs and you realize you’ve always liked looking at men in the same way as women. for me it took awhile, probably around 17 when i was able to finally admit it due to a religious upbringing.

Oh man, I relate to pretty much everything Aiden said about wondering how it will go bringing a same-gender partner around family, having a not great but not horrible coming out experience with parents, and visualizing all the lowkey painful family situations that will happen. And I also don’t like the coming out scenes in media like Love Simon and Heartstopper — in my case, they were just a tough watch after my own non-perfect experience. Hi, guy who is neutral to the whole situation because I don't play melee and only know things about these people that I absorbed from watching this podcast here. I would like to throw in that I don't think Cody's reaction is as delayed as they think. It's true that he reacted a few seconds after HBox did his little hop in his seat, but if you look at Cody's cam, you can see HBox's thigh, and at almost the same time as Cody's reaction, you can see the thigh drop, implying that that is the moment he stomps his feet on the ground after sitting back down. So if Cody's reaction was actually due to HBox stomping and shaking the stage, his reaction is almost immediate, not as delayed as Nick suggested.
