SPOILERS: (even tho I’m like one of the only people catching up that comments😅) The slime reveal and twist were both amazing. He did such a great job concealing his identity with a few small hints sprinkled in. I was wondering how Georg would connect when he was with the rest of the party, and paladins do not have an innate ability to enter the ethereal plane. I know that slime is not multi class and he didn’t enter with Leonas, so it didn’t make much sense in the last ep. Great way to wrap this around to ep 50. Amazing stuff fellas. Yard dnd is peak
Slime being added to this episode has added so much extra content to it, like I know Aiden would’ve been fine with Dave, but slime just adds way more

God Dave is brilliant. It would have been so easy to make a solo character episode spawning from an absence into filler but instead he made it into a vital story moment that works better with Aiden being by himself than it would with the whole group. Its so extroardinary

Ive never commented on a video before but I just gotta say it. Aiden pleeeeeeeaaaaase remember pass without a trace this time. You and your party sneak all the time and you only use it when Dave reminds you which is not often but slime and lud need the stealth help

WOW what a great episode even with the smaller group!!! Slime did an EXCELLENT job concealing his identity and the story all wrapped back to ep 50 so smoothly!

Dave was definitely not letting the dice tell the story this episode. Things were not going the way he wanted so he intervened. Above the dice there is Dave Edit: he said it twice in the after show after explaining how he intervened multiple times.
From a story perspective I completely understand why. Even though Dave is there to be the supervisor of the world he also is the arbiter of the story, it would be sooooooo unsatisfying story-wise for Leonis to potentially fully die in an episode where half the party is missing or (like he said at the end) if Slime had to sit there for like 20 minutes without having anything to do. Plus he's got to wrap up the story beats so that Aiden is caught up to where the rest of the boys are lore-wise and it would be hard to do that if Leonis is dead (I mean, still possible to do, but not in the time-frame of one episode).
