I was listening to this episode while on a road trip moving halfway across the country and the reveal left me so shocked that I missed my exit and didn't even realize until I heard the GPS rerouting sound

my guess for the big finale... princess celinias body was taken by the demons and brought back aswell, after this fight completes here they will run into celini also now known as "the vampire queen" there is also the loose end of if leonas gave his soul up to save celinia or not so i think next ep with leonas in the etheral plain will be great

Honestly stonebeard as a character reminds me a lot of luffy in their ability to act on a pure but stupid conviction of right and wrong. I think both running into the barrier and instantly embracing his children no questions asked really shows that side well

I 2nd Dave saying here's to 50 more episodes, whether it be with the current campaign (unlikely as it's closing) or a new one, Tuesdays have become such a welcome thing to look forward to in my weeks. Genuinely some of the funniest and surprisingly some of the best storytelling for someone who has never consumed any DnD before this. I'm blown away by how it scratches that same "I can't wait for next week" feeling shows like Game of Thrones or Breaking Bad scratch. Obviously you can't compare series TV to a podcast style DnD show as it's apples to oranges (TV has camera/lighting/settings/scenes and things like that to help tell the story, whereas DnD is just imagination-guided narrative), but I find myself with that same "edge of your seat" feeling when twists occur and victories/failures and the like occur. This little side of the internet fucking rocks, GG's boys.

I really thought Selinia was gonna be with Serious on that altar (I really don’t know how to spell their names sorry) or that her involvement in this conflict would’ve been revealed in this ep, I felt like the reason why she isn’t being revived is because she has some use to Centaurus but then he’s about to make a comment on the angelic intervention preventing him from getting GJ before getting cut off, I think there’s more to it but I think Selinia is involved somehow with this or that she’s important to either Centaurus or Ashura

biggest surprise this episode is that ludwig the guy chose georg to flirt with as leonis instead of rone. love shaking things up

I was mad as hell at the cliffhanger on 49 so I immediately came to sub here, and it's a good $5 spent. Also, Coquet Stryga, Selinia and Roan's sister's story lines are still left unresolved (Vampire Queen is the campaign, they're all vampires or vampire adjacents). Looking forward to see what happens with that. And if B Nut ends up becoming Horizon I will be so happy. Or if Georg actually becomes Horizon and doesn't realize it, so the whole time he's talking shit about himself for not being a hot goddess.

Great episode Also I don't think slimes used his channel divinity even once since the start of this campaign. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the paladin subclass Georg is using have access to a +10 once a day attack? And an aoe fear but that's less impressive, especially when your not adding any bonus to your attacks. But honestly that's just how a sigmu plays dnd, no bonus to hit, no abilitys, only smite.
