Tiny NYC Loft // Tumblr Inspired
Hey cuties! I hope you all are doing well! I have another build for you! I built this tiny loft when Tiny Living came out and just rediscovered it! I forgot all about it and I absolutely love it! I had to share! ALSO I will soon be adding a Discord Feature to both patreon tiers! Soon you all will be able to access my discord where you can get help with downloading builds or adding in CC! But most importantly, you'll have access to all of wonderful channels we have in the discord! There is a knitting and crochetting channel, Sims 4 cc finds channel, a food and recipe channel where we share recipes and pics of our food, an adult book club (we kind of abandoned that. Maybe we will pick it up) Animal crossing channel where people share designs, island codes, turnips, gifts events and more, Minecraft channel to access the current minecraft server, 21Craft, and Movie night which pretty much takes place after I stream! Sooooo stay tuned for that!
About the Build
This build is on a 20x15 lot in Newcrest but you can place it anywhere! Please note, when you place the lot, you may recieve a message saying items have been replaced or deleted. That is due to the chair update. Once chairs were batch fixed, they were replaced with base game chairs or removed.
PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND
After the Cottage Living patch, any plates, cups, or bowls left on a lot prevents it from loading. I have no clue how EA did this but it is now a thing. If you're receiving an error after placing my builds, please load the build from build mode (Go to manage world> find the build> Bottom right, click the build mode icon, it looks like a wrench and hammer) and delete the plates, cups, and bowls!
How to Install
Download the .ZIP file
Locate your Sims 4 folder i.e Documents>Electronics Arts>The Sims4
Open the "mods" folder in the .ZIP file and add the cc to your mods folder
Open the "Tray Files" in the .ZIP file and add the files to your tray folder
And that's it! When you open your game, go to the gallery and you should see the build in your library.
BUT DEE GURLL, I don't see it! Make sure you select "show custom content" on the left panel of the gallery and you should see it!

I actually found the issue for anyone else who needs the fix. It鈥檚 the handrails. Use the sledgehammer tool to delete them, even on the ones outside or else you won鈥檛 be able to get to the rooftop. Also, the beautiful loveseat swing on the rooftop will have to either be removed or rearranged if you can manage that or else your sim will get to the rooftop and just stand there. *another important tip* If you download and see objects with that weird colored question mark symbol, click it in build/buy mode, notate the name of the item, and then go search for it on Google. It should populate links to the cc you need from the creator of the content. Download it and then go back into your game. The issue should be fixed automatically. If not just find the newly downloaded cc in build/buy mode and replace the weird colored question marked cc with it. I鈥檝e done this on multiple builds. Hope this helps!
Thanks so much for replying so quickly. Yea I ran everything through sims studio to fix anything broken. I read someone else on another forum had the same issue and it was due to the game creating an invisible fence at the top of the landing. Anyway you get your rest and feel better. Covid is no joke. I鈥檝e been there twice!
Hi Dee. I鈥檓 in love with this build but cannot go upstairs. I鈥檝e tried everything and fixed any broken cc. Is there a workaround for this issue. I want to play this build so bad馃槱. Thanks for any help.
Hi! Oh whewww since I released this build the sims patches have broken so many things. There has been massive updates. I would have to look into it but right now I鈥檓 recovering from covid and it will def take me some time.

Hey Dee! First off, Big fan! I watch u all the time! Second, I downloaded and inserted your house into my game and it showed up completely broken. The brick siding wasn't there just colorful question marks. And windows and other items were missing. I downloaded everything and my game is updated along with all the mods and cc I use. Can u shed any light on what I may be doing wrong? Thanks so much Gurl!
