Law School - Episode 6 - Devlog #3

Hope you're all doing great.
First off, let me address the Patreon hiccup. My "chick tier" had a cover image that technically broke Patreon's guidelines. It was innocent, I'd had it up for two years with zero issues, but rules are rules. It's sorted now and we're back on track.
Last week was rough, though not as rough as the one before it. I'm still easing back into 3D work, and life's been throwing stuff at me left and right. I'm hoping to get back to full rhythm soon, but I still got things done, and that's what counts.
Right now I'm working on the final possible starting points for the episode, based on how you all decided to end episode 5. I've been looking forward to this one, it's animation heavy and I've got a clear vision for it. I've already knocked out around 40 renders leading into the animation part, so it's shaping up to be a solid way to open things.
Also fixed a small but nagging issue with MC's skin, that visible seam between his neck and head that's bugged me forever. Big thanks to my friend Terminal Resistor for sorting it out. Termz has worked on the skins for a bunch of my characters and always delivers. You should start noticing the difference in upcoming renders.
Now, let's talk numbers:
Static renders: 171
Animations: 22
Story content: 3 scenes written (1,415 words)
That's 105 renders and 9 animations since last week. Still not back at full pace, but getting there. Fingers crossed the gloomy weather locks me into focus mode, and that my cats stop having digestive issues everywhere, because cleanup time is dev time I'm not getting back.
On another note, I did a two hour video podcast with Dan from the AVN Desk. I was nervous going in, but I think it turned out to be a good watch with some solid behind the scenes insight. Thinking about running another AMA soon too, like I did a couple years back, to answer whatever's on your minds.
Looking ahead, I'm expecting to wrap this scene around Wednesday or Thursday. Next up is a bigger one, more characters, more dialogue branches, so I'm aiming to have it done by end of week, assuming I get the writing knocked out first. I might get a few scenes ahead of the 3D work before diving back in.
