Patch Day Update (version PC 1.125.56.1030 / Mac 1.125.56.1230 / Console 2.35)
Here's a rundown of the Sims 4 June Patch (released June 30th, 2026), which is described as a "Quality of Life" update that's lighter on new features and more focused on laundry list fixes and bugs.
Marketplace & Moola changes
EA introduced a "simplified purchase flow" so that when you buy an item in the Marketplace, it automatically purchases and redeems the nearest amount of Moola. Nine new Moola amounts were added: 300, 400, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1100, 1200, and 1300 — meaning most paid maker packs now have a direct price equivalent. One catch: this is only available on PC and Xbox; PlayStation players get it in a future update. The writer also noticed the new amounts only show when directly purchasing maker packs or in the EA app, not when clicking "Get Moola" from within the Marketplace, where only the original five options appear.
Gallery performance
A major focus was reducing load times, soft locks, and errors, which often occurred when players placed lots that used a lot of placement cheats. In testing, the writer still saw some load times depending on results pulled, but no infinite loading screens. They deliberately placed and replaced multiple huge, expensive lots that likely used bb.moveobjects, and were able to consistently place and replace without hitting infinite loading or save corruption (one crash happened, but they attributed it to repeatedly placing million-simoleon 64×64 lots).
Notifications & phone calls
Multiple changes were made to phone calls and notifications to address repetitive festival notifications and annoying calls. The biggest wins: the "Silence Phone" interaction was fixed to actually silence a Sim's phone, and players can now turn off unwanted Festival Notifications. One gap remains — the writer still got a "Nordhaven Hobby Meetup" notification even with all festivals turned off and living in Ondarion.
Miscellaneous fixes tested
Partner relationship reverting in CAS — the bug where same-household romantic partners reverted to "Household Member" in Create-A-Sim appears to be fixed; the "Partner" status stayed consistent even with cas.fulleditmode enabled.
Infant milestones for visiting relatives — partially fixed. The "First Visit to Family Member" milestone triggered for the two genetically-related science babies, but did not trigger for the adopted infant even after leaving and returning.
Base layer assets — breast shadows on masculine-framed Sims were removed, and turtleneck seam issues were fixed by separating some base layers into masculine and feminine versions. However, distortions still appear on Male Sims with feminine frames and Female Sims with masculine frames.
Hand fan (Bridgerton event) — the "fan self" interaction issues appear corrected; both adult and child Sims could pick up the fan and use it.
CAS not returning to community lots — fixed. Planning outfits/entering CAS on a community lot no longer teleports you back to your home lot on exit.
Royalty & Legacy specific
Dynasty mean interactions — the Vicious Dynasty Ideal was causing Sims to autonomously perform mean interactions at random; now players must direct these interactions and Sims shouldn't do them autonomously.
Dynasty notifications repeating — the repetitive "child joined/left dynasty" notifications on exiting CAS did not repeat in testing.
Sims 4 June Patch (June 30, 2026) — a "Quality of Life" update, lighter on features and focused on bug fixes, with over 80 fixes promised.

Here's how to back everything up safely. Everything lives in Documents › Electronic Arts › The Sims 4.
1. Back up your Saves first (most important — can't be redownloaded)
Go to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves
Copy the entire saves folder somewhere outside the Sims directory (Desktop, external drive, or cloud like Google Drive).
Rename the copy with today's date, e.g. saves_BACKUP_2026-07-01.
The game keeps rotating backups (.save.ver0 through .ver5), so grabbing the whole folder catches those too.
2. Back up your Mods folder
Copy Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods out to your backup location.
This covers all downloaded CC and mods, plus your Resource.cfg.
If it's large, zip it so you have one clean archive per patch.
5. Clear the EA App cache if the update won't download
The notes point to clearing your EA App cache if it misbehaves during patching.
