How to deal with patch updates

The latest Sims 4 patch, released on September 18, 2024, brings a vibrant update packed with new content and bug fixes. Highlights include 30 new build items and over 650 new color variants for existing objects. Players can now enjoy revamped swatches for popular items like the Simplicit-Ease Chair and Hipster Hugger, along with new doors, windows, and ground covers. The patch also addresses several gameplay bugs across multiple expansion packs, such as visual glitches in San Myshuno apartments and fixed interactions in Discover University and Cats & Dogs​)

• Remove all of your mods (script files) usually gameplay mods

• Turn off Auto Updates so the EA /Steam App Doesn't Automatically Update

• Cas Mods ( Columns/ Wrench Override can also break too but CAS cc making your game crash is rare but possible.
