Wardrobi Pre Release Video and Delayed Launch
Hi Guys!
We're disappointed to say that we are delaying the Wardrobi release a little. We worked very hard to get it ready by now, but we felt it needs another round of polish and bug fixes before you check it out, as we want to deliver the best version possible for you guys.
We especially rushed over the past few days since GDC will be out of town for the next week, so when she comes back, we will make the final adjustments for the 1.0 release.
For now, take a look at the video with Kimberly, which shows all the features that will be in the initial full version of Wardrobi. You will see that features of Wardrobe V2 are now part of Wardrobi, so everything will be in a single application for a smoother user experience.
We apologize again for this delay, but believe us, it will be worth it! We're building a brand-new framework for HS2, and the features you see in the video are just the beginning!

Hi GDC team! already watched the video and Wardrobi is really cool! but i didnt find anything about makeup in video. is that a feature need to be released in later version?
Hi! Glad you're excited about Wardrobi! Yes, we plan to add makeup in future updates. Now we are focused on delivering the best 1.0 version possible; then GDC will decide which feature will be added next.

I think this video could lose the first ten minutes or shorten it to one minute. I went into it thinking I'd see the new features and why I should download it, but am met with ten minutes of how the UI has changed or other basic features that already come without Wardrobe (like Material editor). Like you say in the video, there's tutorials that walk you through the UI already, no need to do that in a feature showcase video. It's a bad showcase video but the new features seem pretty cool. I'd warn to keep feature creep in mind going forward as the number of bugs will inflate and not everyone necessarily needs every functionality.
