Account Security Update – Emails Sent
Hello everyone,
We have now sent emails to all affected users regarding the security incident we previously disclosed.
If you receive an email from us about the March 2026 breach, please don't panic. The email is being sent as part of our commitment to transparency and to ensure everyone has the latest information available.
The email explains:
• What happened
• What information may have been involved
• What actions we've taken
• Any recommended steps for users
At this time, there remains *no evidence that malware was distributed to users' computers* as a result of this incident. Payment information is handled by third-party providers and we have no evidence that payment data was accessed.
If you do not see the email, please check your spam/junk folder.
If you have questions or concerns after reading the email:
• For support via Discord, please create an Account Support ticket.
• Alternatively, you may contact us via email at support@beammp.com.
If you wish to request deletion of your BeamMP account and associated data held by us, please contact dpo@beammp.com from the same email address used to create your BeamMP account (the email address that received the security notice).
Please note that requesting deletion will not affect any data that may already have been accessed or obtained as part of this incident. It will only result in the deletion of your BeamMP account and data that we currently hold.
We are also continuing to rebuild our account systems with security and resilience as key priorities. As part of this process, all users will be required to reset their passwords once the new systems are deployed. We appreciate your patience as we work to deliver a more secure platform for the entire community.
We will also be sending out a more detailed newsletter in the coming week or two, outlining the improvements being made to our infrastructure, and our plans moving forward. We remain committed to being transparent with our community throughout this process.
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support as we work through this and strengthen BeamMP for the future.

i have been falsly banned
Removing my patronage, this has been the largest pain in the ass trying to ensure security at every point... I backed this project up because I believed in it, now it has costed me so much security and comfort. I am being harassed constantly with account password reset attempts, genuinely shame on all of you for poor security measures
Hello! Could you clarify the "account password reset attempts" portion of this? Are you referring to our platform? Our accounts system has not been brought up online yet, so there would be no password reset attempts coming from us, as that functionality does not currently even exist. I truly believe that any account password reset issues you may be experiencing are likely not a result of the incident surrounding this attack. I've personally been getting similar from several of my accounts for the past year, well before our security incident. It's also worth mentioning that there was nothing poor about our security measures. I wish there was a way we could prove that to people, but it's commonly misunderstood that only poor security measures can result in a successful breach by a hacker. -trebor
It's hard to change our passwords when on the website, there isn't an account option on there l, making it much more difficult to change our password
Hello Little Jeremy, We are advising you to change anywhere else that you used the same password as you did for BeamMP. Presently you cannot use or access your accounts in BeamMP. Once our services return you will be required to recover your account using a process that we will outline at the time. It will work similar to a forgot password process if that helps. Kind regards, Titch
