Immortality got us three kittens, and Death didn't get a single one??

Discworld's DEATH is one of the reasons I started reading those books and I still haven't read any of the ones where he's the main character!! XD I need to go and actually finish Discworld.... p.s. the various DEATH OF XYZ characters are also very fun!

Wow Red, this is easily one of my favourite videos you've done!

Loving Reaper by Jenny Jinya is another really good portrayal of a compassionate Death.

I rarely cry due to OSP vids, but the last bit started to get at me. I, too, hope that Discworld's Death (and Susan) meet me when the time comes

I'm surprised you didn't show more clips of Kirby Howell-Baptiste playing Death in the Sandman TV show, when you were talking about Neil Gaiman's Death. She plays the role really well!

Often in my job/life when people ask me if I’m ready for something I have a tendency to say “no but let’s try anyways” and I can’t help but imagine that that might be how I’d face death in the end. I’ll fight for this gift of life because that’s what it deserves, but when it comes there’s no other choice than to embrace it, so why not just try even if you’re not ready. I’m not sure if that makes sense or not. I have ADHD so a majority of my life have been a lot of being misunderstood, so I’ve come to terms with the fact this might be weird for most. But there’ll probably be at least one person who will also get something out of it.

Read a good portion of Pratchett’s work a few years ago, and Death’s books were my favorite. I wasn’t really sure why, but this video has given me some new avenues to consider. Awesome work!

Hey Red, if you managed to read this somehow, I just want to say that this video is beautiful and it brings back something that I hadn’t thought about in a while. Back when you made your video of Sisyphus Capturing Thanatos, you had said “Especially since Death is just the incredibly complex and delicate machinery that drives us suffering an unrecoverable error.” As odd as it likely sounds, it gave me, an 11 year old boy, mortified by his own mortality, and suffering deep grief because of it, something to latch on to. You had given me something to pull me out of endless mourning for a funeral I would not be conscious for. And for that, and for literally all else you’ve done, I thank you.
