That was a fun episode, but also the most confusing to follow...
Great, now to nag my friend groups with this list of awesome ideas. *runs off into the sunset*
The amount of sibling energy from the warm colors reminded me of nerd talks I’ve had with my own. I also have to go and check out some of these. ESP the improv ones
No mention of Pathfinder 2 in the first section? I get that it's similar to 5e, but it's just better.
I'm not surprised she didn't bring it up. Pathfinder and D&D are bound by the same constraints as miniature combat simulations with a fantasy theme, with their differences primarily being the same as the difference between D&D Basic Set and Advanced D&D, just being provided by two different publishers this time. Honestly thier is nothing wrong with this, thier is an audience for both, it's just Magenta's syllabus was presenting TTRPGs that aren't Dungeons and Dragons.
"slap"?
Slap's become a slang term for something really cool or awesome. Like "Oh this soundtrack absolutely slaps" means "Oh this soundtrack is really awesome".
I don't know how I feel about the constant Leverage references without actually referencing the literal Leverage RPG, lol. But this was delightful, mostly because I really want to say this stuff to others but it's so hard to do so without coming off as "lol your hobby sucks mine is better". So I'm glad I can just link to this now.
I didn't know there was a _Leverage_ RPG.
