Blue, your regular tirades against the European Crusaders would not bother me IF they were accompanied by regular or even occasional tirades against Moslem Crusaders. Zoroastrians in Persia, Africans in Ghana, Hindus in what is now Pakistan, ... a very large number of people slaughtered and dispossessed which I'd guess vastly exceeds the sum total of "The Crusades"

how reliable is the claim that this church was built over Jesus' tomb? Is this in the realm of 'we have found a piece of the true cross' (which gives us a true cross of about 4kt) or was there a local custom that kept track of it from the time?
