Trope Talk: Queer-Coded Villains
Oh boy! A very chill and uncontroversial trope!

Was hoping that the Joker would be brought up, or Harley Quinn being created to make him appear less gay, but still really well made. Also, don’t know if you (Red) have read (lol) the Transformers IDW comics, but they when the introduced Knockout in the comics they made his partnership with Breakdown into a Conjex Endura (Which I think is Latin for Life partners Blue would probably know).
Also, (sorry, have a lot of thoughts on this topic relating to media I like) I really like how Teamfourstar handles queer coded characters on their abridged shows (Yajirobi and Korin being a possibly asexual couple in DBZ Abridged, Alucard being pansexual in Hellsing Abridged, and the quote on quote “Bromance” of Barret and Red XIII in FFVII Machinabridged). If anyone else has thoughts on these or the Transformers stuff I’d love to talk about them!
I was waiting for this video for, like, a year now ever since you mentioned it as a Patreon request
does this overlap with the 'immortals are bisexual' trope??? :P
