Secret Cleo! (Also the patreon billing switch finally happened yaaaaay)

But also, holy heck Patreon finally did it, they switched us over to per-month billing yaaaaaaaaay! I did some tweaking to the tiers to update the names prices and descriptions, but you all should be in the same tier as before – exception being the Circle 1: Limbo patrons who are now in the After-After Show-Show Tier-Tier.
The one question we want to put to you now is: Do we make a new entry-tier?
I was setting up the new $1/month entry-tier, sans-AASS, and Patreon popped up a little notification to inform me that setting a $1/month tier is a very bad idea and all their statistics unanimously say "hey don't do that". Their recommendation was no tier lower than $3/month. However, that bumps right up under against the $5/month After-After Show-Show Tier-Tier, and then at that point it's unclear what the extra tier is really accomplishing.
So my question to you all is: Would you be interested in a $1 or $3/month entry-tier with all the basis perks minus the AASS, or would you pick the $5/mo AASS-tier?
Once we get that sorted, the billing changeover will be complete and we can all finally stop thinking about it. Yaaaaaaay.

of 5$ is the lowest I will probably drop off cause with US converting its alot for me gonna miss things though
$5 a month AASS tier, don’t give yourself any more work balancing this precarious structure than you need to.
Getting bonus podcasts is a huge motivating factor for me in deciding how much to patreon (I listen to a lot of podcasts at work and *always* need more), so I'll be donating to the tier that gets me that AASS. If bonus videos were on the table (a la Dominic Noble), I'd probably spring for those, too, but I understand that the amount of work that would entail is probably untenable.
i'm good with the AASS tier but i think it'd be nice to have a lower one to fall back to if money gets tight rather than have to stop supporting y'all BUT more importantly I think there should be an extra tier where we get more cleo pics :D
Huh, I think Patreon's android app is buggy. My membership page shows me at $1/month but the Change Membership page correctly shows me at the $5/month tier.
I feel like having the lowest tier be as affordable as possible, and include the A.A.S.S. would be the best option. I'm planning on gifting a membership to my friend, who is a huge fan of the channel and has been wanting to listen to the A.A.S.S. for a long time [especially since I keep talking to them about it and even typed out Red's speech about art from a while back, so they could read it]. That way I could support the channel even more without going over my Patreon budget, and my friend would get to listen to all of the hilarious conversations, so win-win.

You were only charged once a month, based on how many videos got produced. It wasn't a charge every week.
I’m here for the AASS but I think a lower tier for those who don’t want the AASS but still want to support a bit would be nice.
Non-AASS. I'm trying to be frugal, and barely have time to listen to the podcast. My Patreon account is more about giving support than seeking more entertainment. I was one of the people who liked Lethargo's post about $1 tiers; it is such a comfortable price. But you guys got to do what's best for you.
I'm just here for the AASS, so I would not be interested in a sans AASS tier.

I would appreciate any tier below $5, even if it does not come with AASS. $1 is nice for the financially strapped. Anything less than $5 would be nice or those just not willing to do $60 per year. (I would ignore Patreon, but it is not my living :-) )

I’m here for the AASS because it scratches the itch in my ND brain, but also supporting you is important to me (and I assume others) and I know in the current financial climate (as a Canadian particularly) AASS tier can be steep and hard to justify.

I'd keep paying my dollar if you took the aass away because I enjoy your content so much but I wouldn't be able to hop up a tier due to *vaguely gestures to food prices* I'm here for ya'll and the aass is nice but you won't loose me if you have to move it up a tier.

Parroting everyone else. I'm here for the AASS, and I had already $5/month on the previous set-up. To diverge a bit, if you feel comfortable money wise, you could set up the $1 tier for newer subscribers who want to support but aren't ready for $5/month commitment. I'm also going to ask that you hold off on creating that tier because the patron email I got said I was on a $2 tier. I am on the AASS tier, and it does say $5 on the membership page. It may iron itself out in a couple days, but I'd rather let you know just in case.
I am an AASS enjoyer, I started as just wanting to support yall monetarily but the AASS is a perk that I now find I need and won't go to a tier without. Tldr, a tier without AASS doesn't interest me.

Wait. I'm confused. I got an email from Patreon saying my monthly payment is switched over to $2/month, but looking at my membership for this channel, it's listed as being a $1 AASSTT.

The AASS is the perk I care most about, but I do know there are other podcasts I do support at a $1/month level.

Patreon shows me that "After-After Show-Show Tier-Tier" is $2 per month. Doesn't look right to me, should be $5, right?
The $2/month price was part of the automatic changeover, I manually adjusted it afterwards. We had to apply one multiplier across all tiers so I picked the lowest at 2x (that also saves the higher tiers from getting an insane-o price adjustment). It might take a moment (or a month, who knows) to click over.

I'm just curious why the $1 tier is a bad idea. I thought the best idea was to have a lot of people giving a little rather than a few people giving a lot
probably that it doesn't actually pull in more subs—maybe for a lot of people $1 and $3 register (if you're not directly comparing them) as the same level of affordability, except there's a big difference in revenue on aggregate.
The AASS is the main reason I'm here, so I wouldn't be interested in a tier without it, but I can't speak for everyone else, of course
