Why I Don't Upload Full CC Folders With My Builds
I want to address something once and for all because I have noticed this question coming up more and more in my community: why do I share a CC list with my builds instead of uploading the entire CC folder?
This is not hate, anger, or me trying to be difficult. It is simply an honest explanation of my situation, and I hope you can understand where I am coming from.
At the moment, my YouTube income barely reaches the €70 payout threshold — and there are months when I don't reach it at all. Sometimes I have to wait two or even three months just to be able to withdraw a small amount.
Patreon is even more difficult. I usually make around $30–40, and after Patreon takes its fees and other costs, very little is actually left.
The money I do manage to earn from my content is something I want to spend on my children, rather than spending it every month on additional gigabytes of storage and file hosting for large CC folders.
I also live in a country where many services, applications and options that are easily available to creators in other countries simply aren't available to me or are much harder to access. So I have to be very careful about what I can realistically afford.
That is why I share the CC list rather than the complete folder.
If there is a particular build where the files are reasonably sized — for example, under 5 GB — I am more than happy to upload it and help whenever I can. I genuinely don't mind doing that when it is possible.
What I unfortunately cannot do is upload a complete CC folder for every build, or upload every build separately with all of its CC included. The storage costs simply aren't something I can sustain with the income I currently make from creating content.
This isn't because I don't want to help you. It isn't because I'm being stubborn. And it certainly isn't because I don't appreciate my community.
If we are being completely honest, I already do the majority of what I create for free. Every dollar I manage to earn from this is important to me because it goes toward my children.
If you would like to support me and my work, you can do so through PayPal or by becoming a member on my Patreon. That support genuinely helps me continue creating.
And if my situation changes in the future and I am able to afford more storage and hosting, I will gladly be able to offer more.
For now, though, the CC list is what I am able to provide.
So please, I am asking you to understand my situation and respect this decision. There is no need to repeatedly ask why I don't upload the entire CC folder with a build, because unfortunately my circumstances simply don't allow me to do that.
This isn't a negative message, a complaint, or an argument with anyone. It is just one honest message from me explaining why I do things the way I do, and I genuinely hope you can understand.
Thank you for your patience, understanding and for being part of my community. ❤️

Honestly, I thought the reasons for not sharing were obvious, so it surprises me a bit that people still question it. Although you didn't mention it, I think another important reason is the lack of respect involved in making other creators' CC available directly, since we know they prefer people to download it straight from them. Maybe you could link to each creator's Patreon profile or main download page to make things easier. I don't know if hyperlinks take up storage space too, LOL. That said, thank you for always taking the time to explain and provide such an excellent list of the CC used—and, especially, for making your amazing builds available for download. You were one of the first creators to spark my interest in using CC in builds. I wish you even more recognition and hope it translates into financial success!
I would send you money directly for the cc folder! Please i cant download one by one. I got zelle and apple pay ill send you 60 US Dollars
I will say I’m late to using CC. And when I found your builds on YouTube I fell in love! So I was a little confused at first not knowing what Patreon was. Then once I found your build and things started clicking together and making sense I was like hey this is amazing! The information is all right here! And I had downloaded the coastal collection from Harrie as my first cc download and when I saw that listed in one of the builds I was like ok perfect! So thank you for all you do! You’re amazing! I appreciate you sharing your talent and not just hiding it! Bc your builds and videos have helped my gameplay to be better. It was so overwhelming for me to build at first and that used to be my favorite thing in the Sims 2. I wish I had stuck with playing the game all these years! Maybe I would be half as good as you!
Linking the CC is plenty. I started using CC a year ago and having links, discovering creators and what they have to offer is far more helpful than just getting a folder.
Once someone downloads one of your builds, and the required CC, you are very consistent with using the same CC on other builds. Some exceptions, but nowadays, when I DL a lot and the required CC, I have to delete 6 pages of dups in the Mod Manager. So, I install the lot with the CC I have and review it to see if I am missing anything I consider important. I have sooo much, toooo much CC that I am rarely missing much, and if it's important, I go get it and reinstall the lot, or just replace what I am missing. So, no problems or complaints here!
Exactly, I really appreciate your comment.
Not just that some of cc content also cost. And you and other creators make so much effort of creating, posting and make it available for all of us. ❤️ And big thank you for your work i really love it. 😘
Creators don't generally want ppl to share their files anyways. Can you get permission? Sure, sometimes, but is it worth your time? Definitely not. There is literally nothing wrong at all with providing a cc list. At least you do! A lot of creators don't even do that! People can hunt down free cc to get your builds to show up, it is the very least they can do! You've done all the hard work!
Not to mention that sometimes I use early access too, so I can't share those sets.
you are also respecting some creators TOUs by including the links instead of the cc. It's hard to decipher who allows what, but overall, linking to their page is always welcomed.
Aslo that, I totally forgot to mention.
I honestly prefer a list (w/links to cc modder even better) because there a many times when you see an older build and some of the cc is outdated or worse people throw in additional cc that isn't even relevant to the actual build. Edit: Plus I find that I already have the bulk of the used cc and only want to download what I actually need.
True, but unfortunately creators don't usually update their cc, so after a lot of game updates of course that cc is going to be broken. Also I'm using the same creators for years for the same reason, because it's so difficult to download everything.
Overstood. Thank you for your incredible work Bojana ❣️
