Heartstopper and Channel Update

We're moving Heartstopper to Tuesdays. On 08/25, our Heartstopper 2x3-2x4 will drop on YouTube, and our 3x3-3x4 reaction will drop on Patreon.

We're also going to be combining our 2 weekly TVD reactions into one video starting with 8x6-8x7.

The reason for these changes is that for the past few weeks, the YouTube algorithm has been keeping our channel suppressed. For the first 72 hours after a video is posted to YouTube, it is almost exclusively shown to our subscribers. Then, after those 72 hours, the videos start being shown to a wider audience, and the viewership starts to climb toward its normal level. This is drastically decreasing our opportunity for growth.

The reason this happened is because we posted too many videos too close together. And for a lot of those videos, the click-through rate was low. Which is why starting this week, we began unchecking the "notify subscribers" check box for some of our videos like TVD and Euphoria. It's part of the process of regaining the trust of the YouTube algorithm. Even though those reactions received fewer views than normal, the click-through rate ended up being much higher, which the algorithm sees as a good sign.

Hopefully these adjustments to our schedule will return our channel to normal soon. Thank you for your support and showing up to watch and comment on our videos, even if they've shown up in your feed later than normal or haven't shown up at all. It means a lot to us. Take care, everyone. ❤️
