[Master Post] Broken Bridge Camp is finally here!

The trail narrows as the trees press closer together, their branches knitting into a canopy that filters the light into dull, shifting patches. Ahead, the river cuts through the forest, loud and restless, churning around half-submerged stones. What remains of an old bridge lies broken across the water, its timbers dark with age and neglect.

The ground near the bank is uneven and slick, and the brush grows thick enough to hide movement just beyond sight. The air is heavy with moisture and the scent of rot and pine. This place feels watched - as if the forest and the river are quietly waiting to see who dares to cross.

Hi everyone!

This one was supposed to drop in January… but my little daughter had other plans and very efficiently verified that schedule. So here we are - Broken Bridge Camp goes live today, February 1st.

This is one of those maps I really love making: highly universal and easy to drop into almost any campaign. It works great for random encounters on the road, tracking down someone hiding in the woods, or defending your camp against a night raid (bandits, beasts, something worse - you know the drill). Thanks to the feedback I’ve been getting on Discord, it’s become pretty clear that the real strength of my maps is exactly this flexibility. They’re not locked into one very specific scenario, and that’s something I want to lean into even more. (mostly, because I also like creating some cyber-pumpkin blue wale floating in the space -kinda maps)

On top of that, the map has some solid tactical depth. Slippery river stones, dense bushes and trees for cover, broken bridge, and a strong current that can easily turn the environment itself into a threat. In this encounter, the terrain isn’t just a backdrop - it’s an active participant.

You’ll find multiple day and night variants, with and without grids, so you can adapt it to your table and your VTT of choice.
The Foundry VTT version is coming in the next few days.
EDIT: Foundry manifest links are in dedicated posts below, plus Foundry packs has been uploaded to Moulinette Cloud.

As always - thank you to everyone who follows my work, shares feedback, and spreads the word. And a huge thank you to my patrons - your support genuinely makes it possible to keep creating maps like this.

Cheers!
