[Master Post] New Battle Map: Grimdark Cantina!
The dim glow of flickering lumen-strips barely illuminated the cantina’s smoke-filled interior, where the stench of cheap amasec and burned recaf mixed with the ever-present scent of unwashed bodies. A hunched figure in a ragged flak coat nursed a drink at the bar, his augmetic eye whirring softly as he scanned the room for threats. In the far corner, a trio of underhive gangers whispered over a data-slate, their hands never straying far from their rusted autopistols. The air grew tense as a towering enforcer in black carapace armor stepped inside, his helmet’s red visor sweeping across the patrons like a predator sizing up its prey. A servitor behind the bar continued its programmed motions, pouring drinks with mechanical precision, oblivious to the rising tension. Without warning, a table crashed over as two rogue traders erupted into a violent argument, one drawing a knife while the other reached for a concealed laspistol. The room hesitated, then exploded into motion—chairs overturned, weapons were drawn, and a garbled vox-cast from the enforcer’s helmet signaled incoming reinforcements. Someone screamed as a plasma shot vaporized a section of the wall, sending shards of rockcrete into the air. The hunched man at the bar sighed, downed his drink in one gulp, and reached inside his coat for something heavy. The cantina, as always, had just become a battlefield.

I’m excited to share a brand-new battle map, inspired by the grimdark universe of Warhammer 40,000! This Cantina comes in two versions:
Standard – A fully functional, shadowy dive where deals are made, alliances forged, and blaster fights are just one bad look away.
Devastated – The aftermath of chaos, with overturned tables, broken chairs, and destruction scattered across the floor.
I don’t often create maps set in this universe, but every time I do, it’s an absolute blast! There’s something about the gritty, industrial feel of the setting that makes designing these spaces a real adventure.
