3D Print - New Previews

At the top of the post, you'll see some early previews of the models we are working on for November!

The Vampiric Undead Vampire Lord and Vampire Lady lead their legions across the field of battle. These heroes are available with a wide selection of terrifying weaponry, and each has an optional companion. If these bloodsuckers aren't enough to instill terror in their foes, the huge Bat Beast certainly will with its powerful attacks able to fly over their opponent's front line and hit vulnerable targets where it counts.

For the Dwarf Guilds, the Hammer Elites march across the battle with heavy armor and powerful attacks, able to both hold their line and break through their opponent's line. Taking that strategy to the next level is the Dwarf Guild's Tank. This vehicle has a variety of weapons it can be built with to crack through various enemy defenses.

Finally, our Legendary Beastmen Shaman Titan is a terrifying force in any battle. Led by a powerful shaman, this towering magical titan will sweep through the enemy's lines.

Please remember that these are early WIP shots of the models and not the final versions of the models.

That's it for this week, happy wargaming!

I do like the vampires, they look in líne with OPR minis, which I like.

F
Forrest Wentworth · October 25, 2023

I know a lot of folks are unhappy about the vampire proportions but I think they look good.

S
Shadow fund · October 24, 2023

I'm hoping they have more modularity than the empire did.

J
Josh Grillo · October 24, 2023

I like the vampires, but would have expected them to be more lithe. On the other hand, it differentiates them from other lines. Straight up, at least they're not chonky like Pearl from Blade.

W
Will Parrish · October 23, 2023

I dont think the vampires' designs are nearly as bad as people are making them out to be. They look really cool in their own right, and while they dont look as sickly and nosferatu-ey as the concept art, these proportions seem more printable and resillent as game pieces, and are a good fit with the rest of OPR's art style. I think people are also underestimating how much thinner and sickly you can make them when painting, if it were sculpted that way then it would look TOO exaggerated when its all painted up.

s
sully · October 23, 2023

complete bunk, look at the Sisters proportions compared to these. these got cabbage patch kid proportions

B
Banquo · October 23, 2023

Agree w all the comments regarding the vampires. The proportions are way off and make them look terrible.

N
N3CR0PH4G3 · October 21, 2023

please for the love of god, stop plastering big dumb faction logos on stuff.

A
Anorexic Manatee · October 21, 2023

I absolutely love those dwarf models!

R
Riley · October 21, 2023

any update on the sisters terrain for the Oct bundle?

O
One Page Rules · October 23, 2023

It should be available soon.

L
Luke Martin · October 21, 2023

Vampires seem a bit odd in their proportions but I guess it's still WIP. Please make them kinda skinnier. They are kinde undead after all. Feeding on blood you probably don't put on a ton of weight ?

L
Luke Martin · October 21, 2023

I like the space dwarves very much !

N
Nathan Gerardy · October 20, 2023

I understand we are stuck with the proportions of the Humans after the Human Empire. I posted then also. But sadly like the human empires they all end up looking like children. I understand this was done for easier face painting and the heads were enlarged for that reason, but they just look like vampire kids same as the Human empire looked like knight kids. They should be ok when printed as small as they end up, but I really don't love the scaling. Maybe you can do a compromise between the Human Empire proportions and the sisters proportions. Here is a graphic I made showing the very huge difference in the Vampires/Human Empires and the Sisters proportions. https://imgur.com/a/GgihATt

L
Luke Martin · October 21, 2023

Omg I can't unsee that proportion difference. Sisters look much better.

s
sully · October 20, 2023

Was hopeful for vamps since I don't care about dwarves.. i'll just use ones I already have. everybody else has said it all already.

E
EdgarAllanPoon · October 20, 2023

I love OPR, but I have to be honest the Vampire lord doesn't look nearly as cool as he did in the concept art. I can't exactly put my finger in it, I think it's a lot of small differences adding up to make the overall whole different. Maybe it's the stylization? I'm not sure.

j
john isabell · October 20, 2023

i agree skinny them up some please

A
Aaron Merric · October 20, 2023

Is that a sun in the head dresses? If its an eclipsed sun that will be difficult to make come across in paint. Why the Aztec sun god vampires? And yea same as everyone else the concept art was better, slender them up please, plus make it ravens or zombie dogs. Those are TOO lively for an undead army.

S
Sealix · October 20, 2023

Leaving a comment to agree with the others on the vampires, I feel like they should be more lanky/tall/slender. Their power fantasy comes from being royal stalkers of the night, fast and deadly, slim and elegant. In my head, vampires aren't hard to kill because they have heavy armor, they're hard to kill because they are fast and nimble.

Y
Yannick · October 20, 2023

I agree with the others, the proportions of the two vampires characters seems off, maybe too chunky. I know it might be for copyright reasons but I would find them much more unique and interesting if they were closer to the original artwork you showed us before.

D
Dun Grizzly · October 20, 2023

I much prefer the side attached hull weapons. Hopefully that's the release version. Apart from that - It's a crazy awesome IFV. I love it. And the "Bonk Beards" also look great! :D

J
Jacob · October 20, 2023

Have to leave a comment to concur with others, love the concept but let's just stretch them a little taller and thinner please!

B
Bob August · October 20, 2023

For a second I thought the vampire previews here were more dwarves. They seem a little... squat?

R
Russell Phillips · October 20, 2023

Also have to agree, these don’t come close to matching the fantastic concept art. They do not look like vampires at all.

T
T.W. Falconer · October 20, 2023

I agree with Adam. I would love to see the vampires just a touch more slender/elegant, especially the female vampire. Other than that, great work.

A
Adam · October 19, 2023

I agree with the comments re- vampires. They look very 'empire-y' even with hawks/axes etc. Surely vampires would have bats or crows as their familiars/messengers. I would love to see them with their mouths open showing vampire fangs etc which would set them apart from other factions. I agree they should be taller, thinner and more distinguished and elegant as per the concept art which was absolutely incredible and really showed the aged/decayed elegance that really set this faction apart for me. Still only the renders so i hope OPR take all our feedback onboard.

I love vampiric undead, I’ve been hanging out for this release since I found out about OPR. I’ve loved the previews you have shown us so far and my excitement and anticipation has been growing for this release. I am still excited, however I must agree with others here, the vampire lord and vampire lady don’t feel quite right, and don’t feel as true to the concept art as some of the other previews. Others have said they seem a little bit chunky, and not gaunt, drawn out, the armour, and cape feel too immaculate/clean the overall concept is promising, and if it was possible, I think, and I can only speak for myself, bringing these lovely centuries old vampires back to a closer approximation of the concept art would be fantastic. Having said all that, you have nailed it (no pun intended) with trusty hound, the emaciated yet dangerous looking beast is fantastic. the options for the vampire lady, the bird of prey, the chalice, etc, all spot on (nailed it again), everything else is amazing, and I’ll still being keen to grab this in November.

Captain Karnage · October 19, 2023

Any info about possibly getting Ratmen Clans in the near future

D
Dave · October 19, 2023

No need to wait, they exist already! You can view the bundles here: https://www.myminifactory.com/users/onepagerules/collection/fantasy-army-bundles

N
Nathan Barling · October 19, 2023

Please reduce the head size of the vampires and make them look more gaunt - they simply don't look like the vampires we were previewed and expected.

Q
Qube · October 19, 2023

Gotta jump on this train and agree that the vampires seem to be totally squished. Not at all the tall and gaunt look that was advertised. I was so pumped to see these guys and this a huge disappointment

C
Chris · October 19, 2023

I like the the vampire. The look of the concept art showed a ton of detail (perhaps a bit too optimistic) but showed a range of noble vamps to feral vamps to corpses or subjects of vampires. We have only seen a small selection of renders and concept art but I would love to see a semi feral vamp ripping and eating a human, would make a great character/ leader and fun to paint.

J
Jake Plisken · October 19, 2023

As everyone else has said vampires seem not thin enough. Maybe still stuck on the Dwarf features?

N
Nathan Gerardy · October 20, 2023

Same issue that the Human Empires had. If you compare.

B
BrokenLegionOfGamers · October 19, 2023

I'm loving the look of you Dwarves! Keep up the great work. That tank looks absolutely phenomenal.

B
Bjarke Mortensen · October 19, 2023

Agree with the above. The designs are great but the vampires seem stubby.

M
Macathu · October 19, 2023

I wasn't sure if it was just for the human empire or not, but the vampires seem to have the same "chibi" influence. It's a shame b/c anything OPR that isn't a human doesn't have the issue and looks great.

D
Dave · October 19, 2023

Agreed! Battle sisters handled human proportions better. I was pretty disappointed with human empire.

M
Maximilian Korsch · October 19, 2023

The vampire bat looks great! The vampires themselves feel a bit stubby, like they got squished down. Their design is still awesome and vewry on point with the usual OPR style, though.

R
Robert Allen · October 19, 2023

I think the vampires might look better if a bit more gaunt. It seems that blood makes you thin and goth-y.

S
SpillboBaggins · October 19, 2023

Yeah they're a bit chonk.

K
Kozicjusz · October 19, 2023

Concept arts of vampire lord looks much better then render. Rendered model reminded me a child game with caricature characters

R
Ryan Rieder · October 19, 2023

Agreed, the concept art was amazing, but the renders and the sun motif for vampires feels like an odd choice
