December Painting Contest
Contest Categories: The contest is split up into 3 categories, each with its own submission criteria, and each contestant may pick only one category:
Legendary - Paint this month's legendary model
Solo - Paint one single model from this month's release
Army - Paint at least 10 models from this month's release, and post a picture of them as part of an army. Each army must have at least 30 models from OPR of the same faction, and must include at least 1 hero model.
Rules: To participate, pick one category, and share a high resolution picture in square format via the Dropbox link below. Only one picture may be submitted, and you must use your Patreon username as the file name, or the submission will be discarded!

Not Allowed: Welcome Pack Minis, Loyalty Rewards, Terrain, Game Aids
The miniatures should be painted by you, no re-sizing over 5% is allowed, and only minor modifications are acceptable. By entering the contest you give OPR permission to share the pictures on our website and social media.
Prize: The community will vote for the best submissions, and the top 3 of each category will get 1.5KG of Vulcan Resin by Atlas3DSS, plus a special 75% store discount. As a bonus, one other random participant from each category will also get the special store discount!

I really underestimated how much work a Legendary is to print and paint. But i did it. These contests really give you some encouragement to get things done! Good luck to everyone, i am looking forward to see your submissions! :)

It's a little frustrating how the delays interact with the painting contest. I was hoping to paint the Flagellants, but it seems like they're still delayed, yet will be released in December. This gives less than a week to print/prime/paint a unit. Please consider being more flexible about the deadline or which models are available for the contest.
This is the unfortunate reality of the delays, but due to how we organize our months, we're not going to be moving the deadline, sorry.
I suppose the Vulcan resin is not a waterwashable one ? (can't really use alcool bath where i'm setup)
I am a new patron, so I guess I have to wait until the end of the month to have access to any qualifying models, correct?

Looking forward to entering my first one. I'm still really new to painting and definitely won't win but it is nice to have something to motivate me to paint.
Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to participate this month unless I REALLY have some stuff clear up - but good luck to everyone who does!

They will be valid for this month's contest, despite the delays. It's an unfortunate situation, really, but also an opportunity to build towards next month's army category. :)
