November Painting Contest
Hello everyone, this month we're going to try something new, by adding multiple contest categories for you to participate in. This gives you more freedom to try out different things, and also means that more prizes are available! :)

Contest Categories: The contest is split up into 3 categories, each with its own submission criteria, and each contestant may pick only one category:
Legendary - Paint this month's legendary model
Solo - Paint one single model from this month's release
Army - Paint at least 10 models from this month's release, and post a picture of them as part of an army. Each army must have at least 30 models from OPR of the same faction, and must include at least 1 hero model.
Rules: To participate, pick one category, and share a high resolution picture in square format via the Dropbox link below. Only one picture may be submitted, and you must use your Patreon username as the file name, or the submission will be discarded!

Not Allowed: Welcome Pack Minis, Loyalty Rewards, Terrain, Game Aids
The miniatures should be painted by you, no re-sizing over 5% is allowed, and only minor modifications are acceptable. By entering the contest you give OPR permission to share the pictures on our website and social media.
Prize: The community will vote for the best submissions, and the top 3 of each category will get 1.5KG of Vulcan Resin by Atlas3DSS, plus a special 75% store discount. As a bonus, one other random participant from each category will also get the special store discount!

love this multiple categories, sense there are so many submissions
Hey - you said not to modify the model much, and I get that - but are adding basing bits or making bases a bit more thematic allowed? The idea of a plain sand or grass base hurts my soul.
In past painting contests basing has been free game for the most part, so I imagine the same would apply now, I think the modification just refers to the model itself
Would someone please be so kind to explain what a "hero model" is?
Examples of hero models: Ratmen Captain, Lust Champion, Starhost Gecko Chief.
Re the army category, are you likely to provide new models for factions you have already released? E.g. new mummified unded models that could be put with models from an earlier release?
We might add a few single models in the future, but we're unlikely to add enough for them to be valid entries for the army painting category.
Would it be okay to down scale the legendary model to paint or does it need to be printed full size

Hey for the army entry would the other 20 models in the army need to be from onepagerules or could they be same faction from different dealer? 10 is the amount to paint but really its 30?...
It has to be 30 models from OPR. :)
Do we need 30 rats since they're new? How about just limiting the army photo to 10 new models? Otherwise... are the other 20 judged or not?
Can I have 20 unpainted rats in the background if only the first 10 + hero are being judged? :)
Like the idea, but kinda excessive to force an army to be 30+ models.
Whilst the first month of an army is the most challenging one, the idea is that players add to their armies over time, so by the end of it you'll have a nice big army to show off. :)
I really like this. Like, this month I don't really know if I'll have time to go full out on the legendary but I don't feel hamstrung by the decision to go smaller.
Love the idea for multiple categories, but the Legendary release doesn't usually feature that much among the entries, so either the person in Legendary wins by default or there is a 50/50 chance to win. Hopefully it will encourage more people to try and paint the Legendary releases.

Is the army 10 or 30 models minimum? Says both…
I think they mean that your army has to include 30 models total, and at least 10 of those 30 have to be from this month.
