10k Free Minis for 10k Patrons!
Hi everyone,
I am absolutely speechless.
When I first started this Patreon back in 2017, having 100 subscribers seemed completely out of reach. Now here we are, 5 years later, and we've managed to hit 10.000 subscribers. This is absolutely incredible. :D
I'd love to personally thank every single one of you, and as a special surprise, we've come up with a fun little gift for you: 10.000 free models at 2mm scale!

Edit: The 10.000 free minis are just a joke. Whilst we understand that some people would have liked a special reward, we're already filled with delays making daemons, and don't have time to make a special model on top of that. In any case, it's all in good fun. Don't let 10k get to your head is the message. :)
By reaching 10.000 patrons, we've unlocked new discounts for October 2022:

Painting guide, please. Intending to do them up as Pyrrhic/Tarantine phalanxes with supporting hoplites against Roman legions (velites, hastati, principes, triarii) and allied southern Italic tribes. Any suggestions?

It the bases were slightly chamfered and thinner, and little variation was added to nubs height, these would actually make a very nice 'alien' crop fields Edit: And this modifications would be really quick to make too.

Actually ran over to my printer and printed the first seven out. Love the humor....and all ready whirling in my brain painting them up, putting in an Altoids tin with some mini dice, paper ruler. I need rules. Congratulations on the 10k, and now I have a completely easy to transport army for anywhere!

I've played 2mm and 5mm games... I was hoping these guys would at least have bodies and facing. Given the constraints of the scale 2mm guard, battle bros, and bugs would be easy to do. And basic human fantasy units likewise.

It's hilarious how many people here A) can't take a joke B) are entitled cry babies who think they are owed things. Just because OPR hits a sub milestone doesn't mean they have to do things for you. You pay your sub and you get your minis. Frankly it's amazing that we are given a 70% discount for the milestones so maybe try being thankful for that instead of whining.
Right!!! You get what you get and you better like it. As a paying customer there is no room for criticism or any sort of expectations set by previous milestones. No. You all better count yourself lucky you have the privilege of spending your money every month on this patreon.

I guess it's a joke post, but it does seem poorly conceived. 10,000 subs is a huge milestone, and this might be the (3D-printing-related) Patreon with the most number of subscribers. So to get a bunch of little Digletts/nubs to "celebrate" 10k subscribers is a bit... strange.
Note: This isn't a knock against the monthly models at all (they've got awesome quality). It's just that, if you consider the notion that most of us are subscribed at the $10 tier, then this Patreon earns $90,000+ a month at the 10K subscriber count. So, yeah, it's weird to mark the milestone with "joke" models, unless there's an actual stretch goal/milestone reward that's yet to be released.
