April Release Overview - April Fools Joke
WELCOME TO THE NEW OPR!
Over the last year we have been teasing fans with the great releases of April 2022, and finally the time has come to reveal our plan for a new era of OPR miniatures.
Starting from this month, we're going to be releasing miniatures in a new polygonal style, which we believe will completely revolutionize how 3D print miniatures are made in the future. Not only that, but we're also releasing our miniatures in a new 56mm scale, paving the way for a new format of tabletop wargaming, which shatters the boundaries of what is possible within the realm of physical play.
Since our existing team was not on board with this new vision, we have fired everyone that was working with us, and implemented a completely new AI system, that generates miniatures on the fly with never before seen detail. This is a truly incredible time to be alive, and let us tell you, no expenses were spared.

This is great - low-poly minis like mid-90's 3D video games. Remember original Quake? Lol.
With translucent red resin these would look Superhot.
Really like the minimalist approach on this new line, but I am really put off by the giant file size. 26mb? The file size creep is getting out of hand!

Was actually excited. Not having to fiddle with my printer settings to get good detail quality on my printer after 3 days of trying to get it to work.

For reals though, is there a way you did this quickly or did you have to sculpt new models? I am thinking if I shrink these down to very small scale for small form mini games or something it may actually print better than normal minis =).
Man these are gonna take to drybrushing so well! All those sharp edges will really pop. Also I kinda like the inventor,like I'm actually reminded of Albion online by the model so I'll probably actually paint him up

This is great is so many ways. Finally I can print something on my FDM printer without loosing important details! After all... there's barely any details to loose in the first place. (Seriously tho, I love it)
yawn april fools has become more tedious since covid.
The beastmen one will be turned into a wood carved statue and made into terrain. Despite being an aprils fool joke, these have real applications to the creative. Nice job.

This is actually very cool with great potential for certain situations, ie. Shield Impacts, Invisibility, Digital Camouflage ect. Might be wonderful for a character that has such an ability to have a version of this to show it's condition. I think it would be so cool especially if printed in a transparent resin. Very cool indeed. Thanks.
