March News & Previews #4

Launching next month on MyMiniFactory's Frontiers, The Whispers Below is an all new Narrative Campaign for Grimdark Future, that sees the scrappy Jackals exploring and looting in places that maybe they shouldn't be, while the Robot Legions wake up from slumber in their crashed starship. It allows you to play out the story of these two faction's interactions through 10 brand new missions. It also comes with four new Narrative Heroes. The two we'll be meeting this week are Tayra, a Jackals Shaman, and Oath-U7X1, A Robot Legions Annihilator in charge of security.

On the last week of every month, we’re running an OPR Hangout stream over on YouTube, where we showcase upcoming releases, sneak peeks at future content, and have a Q&A session for you to get involved. This is a relaxed stream, giving you a behind-the-scenes look at our creation process whilst chatting a bit and having some fun.

The next stream is going to be on March 26th at 19:00 GMT / 15:00 EST / 12:00 PST.

Our friends at Haunts’ Wargaming have another battle report for us. This time it’s the Alien Hives versus the Orc Marauders. Alien Hives heroes from the recently released Alien Hives Faction Book team up to face off against the Orc Marauders. A river separates them for now, but when bridges become too narrow to cross all at once, animosities boil over. Who will hold the objectives the longest?

• Check out the video on the Haunts’ Wargaming Youtube channel.

At the top of this post, you'll see some early previews of what we are working on for April!

The Lust Fury Champion is there to lead the Lust Furies into battle. She holds a few of the same abilities that let them work in tandem like Scout and Flying, so she and her unit can start close and take the straight path closer. Her loadout allows her to customize between ranged and melee options so she’ll fit right in with Furies or Shooter-Furies.

The Snake swarms are exactly what you expect from swarms. Some low stats, but also plenty of toughness and attacks per swarm. Being venomous creatures, their attacks also come with Bane which gets around regeneration and can turn good saving rolls into failed ones.

Please remember that these are early WIP shots of the models and not the final versions of the models.

That's it for now, happy wargaming!
