Robot Legions Model Updates
We are happy to announce that we are releasing several updates to the Robot Legions model range this month! The Robot Legions has been one of our oldest and most beloved factions, so we're excited to revisit some of these models. The best part? These updates are free to everyone who already owns these models on MyMiniFactory!
Keen eyed players may have noticed some of these updates in the previews for our Broken Truth campaign, which includes a few of them in the box and in the expansion packs, but the updates don't stop there.
Since the Robot Legions was one of our earliest model ranges, this update brings with it plenty of weapon options and upgrades that they were not originally released with the kits, making it possible to represent their stats and unit profiles better on the table top.
In addition to new options and adjustments, we're also adding buddies to the Robot Legion army! These optional companions can add a bit of charm and flair to your units as these tiny robots do their best to help your army out in games.
We have pictures of all the updated models above, and here is a list of what you can expect:

I started my journey with OPR years ago, beginning with the Robot Legions and have been a fan of their work ever since. About a year and a half ago I was unable to find any players and subsequently left my printed armies to someone else who had a use for them. I stayed on as a patreon because I genuinely believe in their work due to how committed they are and what they stand for in the miniature game setting and love it! With this recent update I decided to start all over again but this time I am now introducing new people into this wonderful hobby and hope to make it grow. Thank you guys, you are legends.
Definitely not mad about the amount of Stars Prequels and Battle droid/Grievous energy invested here
Have the army bundles which contain these models been updated with the new files?
Yes, checked it on MMF
I cannot overstate the joy that this post has filled me with. Cheers!
Hello, will Tier 3 members also have access to it at the same time they unlock the older models?
I second this, currently a tier 3 supporter and would like this to be clarified aswell
The Robots are so much more menacing now! Truly they have become the terrors that will haunt the dreams of all
woot new stuff
Cool cool, but why still no warriors who hold his weapon up like he wants to shoot? I meen yeah, I kitbash them so it lokes like it. But it's a pain in the a... to kitbash 100 warriors. 😭 Please create an arms/gun kit that holds the weapon in a shooting position.
Aeeewwww \o/ The new models are beautiful.
What about the Broken Truth digital files?
The files are being updated for everyone, everywhere, including Broken Truth digital supporters. :)
Very nice. It's always good to see old sculpts getting revisited and having new options and improvements added.
These look fantastic. The new Broken Truth box set is still using the old files though, yes?
Broken Truth was the catalyst for some of the changes, Warriors with Reaper rifles for example were something we wanted to include in Broken Truth. So everything you get in broken truth is still up to date, just now also available as STLs.
Wow. Thank you. Your Robot Legion minis were what got me hooked on OPR, so it’s nice they are getting some love. The original minis are great, but the standard has been progressively improving with each new release. Will download these now, and print off some new poses and equipment, to slot into my (already OTT) collection. Cheers,
Replying to myself - oops! :) Funny thing is, I redownloaded my entire Robot Legios files just over a week ago. Guess I should have waited... lol
Yes thank you so much they need they were first stls of yours i got i got most but maybe like 3 stls. And next your space alian bugs lol
Awesome
Will these updates be applied to bundled releases too and not just individual units?
Absolutely!
Does this update apply to people who bought the robot legion bundles too?
Sure does! Those files should already be updated! But its a ton of files so if you find anything missing, send us a ping!
