October News & Previews #3
Due to sudden new fees being introduced by Only-Games, we are making the difficult decision of changing our offerings on our Only-Games store. These new fees would require us to increase the price of many individual heroes and units to a level we are not comfortable with, and would leave us with a half-empty store that doesn't provide players with all their gaming needs. Army bundles are the least affected by the new fees, as well as some of the most popular items sold on our store since their launch, so we are going to focus on those instead.
- Check out the post on our website to find out about all the changes -
In light of this, we would like to inform you that we've already been working on alternatives for a while, and with this new development are going to do our best to provide you with them sooner rather than later, so expect an announcement soon!

At the top of post, you'll see some early previews of the what we are working on for November!
In November the red and yellow leaves of Fall trees make home for the Wood Elves. The Scouts are always on patrol, silently and carefully watching the edges of their forests for enemies. Experts at navigating the woods and remaining unseen, their arrows can take care of threats before they become a problem. The Giant Owls are swift and deadly hunters, flying high, they can pick out their prey and descend upon them with razor claws that are impossible to escape. Connected to the Spirit of the Heartwood, they will always help the Wood Elves in their times of need.
Please remember that these are early WIP shots of the models and not the final versions of the models.
That's it for now, happy wargaming!

I hope to see more stereotypical elf models. you would not believe how hard it is to find an elven female archer model with light armor that isn't from Aos.
Today's preview should make you happy, then!
I'm usually the last person to complain about the design, but there are two things that bother me here. They are the strange leather boot sandals and the nock of the arrow. The miniature is much easier to paint with full sandals or completely barefoot. And you don't have to over design the arrow. I wouldn't use a nock. It just takes more time and effort to paint this small part. But that's just my opinion. I really like the rest. *Hust* liked the elves better barefoot ;D
I like old arrows too, because i see tools in their quivers. Cant unsee them.... help
want to see some havoc cuilt army
These guys are great. Would love to see soul snatcher cults as well after the HDF stuff is done
I would be happy to see an owl-only army !! Scrap the elves or make them into familiars ;) Anyway - the more owls in the army, the better. I have an owl lover to pull into the game!!
May I suggest to make the giant owl's beak/face more "owly"? It's much more a huge sparrow lookalike now, at least for me. Pretty, pretty please. I'm so hyped for the concept of having them instead of eagles and such.
I agree about the owls. I'll probably use the owls from Tale of Archduke Mousin, Tome 2 by Rescale Miniatures.
Finally. Wood Elves. I am Happy
Wood elves look good. Not too keen on the arrows without fletching. But they are magical creatures in a fantasy world, so what do I know? lol
I鈥檓 just getting Lego/playmobil vibes.
Good concepts, and love the owl theme. Minis seem a bit chonky though, looks like their legs are too short.
These look great -- but I do miss the derpy owl from the sketches 馃ぃ
I love the models so far except for one thing. There seems to be no fletching on the arrows. I love that there are arrows and bowstrings, I just don鈥檛 see how you can fire and arrow accurately with hooks instead of fletching.
I cannot unsee this now, if they leave them like that, I will end up adding fletching myself
Is there a tentative roadmap/plan for releasing minis for factions that currently don鈥檛 have anything released yet?
I would prefer the models to be more slender. They look very chonky at the moment.
Why do the ears just go through the caps ?
Please remember that these are early works and are still going to be going through iterations. This graphic was specific to the artist getting feedback on the poses so the ears weren't clipped yet in case alterations have to be made.
Mostly very cool, but the giant owl goes directly from neck to face with a very small flat head.....looks more like an Angry Bird character, and the neck frills are supposed to be feathers ?
Loving this!
How to sign up to be a official printer for OPR?
OPR don't have merchant licences the only approved physical releases are their only-games store
Cool stuff! What's the latest about GF:quest?
Nothing to report on yet, but it's on it's way still.
Normal body proportion :D
These look great. Will we get space wood elves in the future?
Sad these no previews for the HDF , looking forward to them
Awesome giant Owl!
