I went Giga all in. Is there a place to see where the partner armies fit into OPR as proxies or as new armies?
You can find lists for all the Titan-Forge and Archvillain Games armies on Army Forge under the creators tab. https://army-forge.onepagerules.com/armyBookSelection?gameSystem=2&partnerId=12353
Dog gone it, now my stl pile of shame is even more ginormous.
Hard to find a non double up mix but I just bought the $90 all in… nothing added to my library after payment though? All these models are already released in MMF so confused?
They posted in the comments that the files will be released on Monday.
I love AV, they make the most incredible models, but the whole not having options or modularity is kinda a big bummer /:
Especially since, as they are written, the whole unit needs the same weapon but they always come with one pose per weapon so either no wysiwyg or monopose shenanigans.
Really contemplating that Mega All in Everything pledge. I have a few of the armies already though. Would be cool if perhaps with proof of prior purchase we could get a voucher for an alternate army pack or something. Just a thought! I Have the Ghult Orc's and the Entire Saurian Star Host Army now.
This. I've been a long-time member of OPR, I've pretty much got all their models. These army bundles just don't work for me. Edit to add: If the bundles were choose your own three armies, that would be great but chosen for me is just useless and almost punishes me as a long term backer.
alternate view is that its enticing to bring new players to the game and open up open source wargaming to a larger audience which ultimately long term likely means more creators and models/armies for you. Admittedly I would have liked some more new armies or selection within the bundles but this was an easy sell to friends who are die hard "other guys" players who i was able to say "hey, look, you get 6 armies for under the cost of what 1/4 of a single army would cost from other games". I'm hoping this helps to expand the reach into my local community more and makes more players for me to play against. Not trying to devalue your comment, at all, but really something like this even though less perks for someone who has been around a long time, is really good for the game as a whole. Adoption has always been my biggest issue with OPR and anything to help larger scale of adoption is good for all.
Really bummed about any bundle I buy id be buying army's and models I already have.
Interesting but at least with titanforge I know they are larger than 28mm scale and don't fit the OPR minis in size. Yes, you can scale them down but then the supports are wrong and you have to set them yourself. Unfortunately this is not mentioned
They do 32mm and 28mm scale options. But even then scaling down within that increment, your supports should still work just fine. Same with scaling up a bit (speaking from experience!)
Also are the army lists in the army forge app for us to look at before buying models?
Yes, they are.
Hmm, not sure if these prices work out cheaper than being patreons and discount. I saw you posted the titans are all new, but isn’t there a ratman god Titan already? Or is it completely different?
One Page to rule them all One Page to find them One Page to bring them all And in the Campaign, grind them.
you ve put mmf on fire, guys , thanks !
MMF needs more load balancers lol
They needed them for a while. Whenever there is a holiday in multiple countries and on weekends it slows down so much that it sometimes cancels downloads...
Looks like mmf broke 🤣 Getting mmf is unavailable error page.
The MMF site is on fire RN I cannot even get it to load
You may have overloaded MMF's servers. I cannot get on to the site this morning. [edit: just took a long time to load the 8th time I tried]
